"I don't mind being more heartless," said Huo Yao casually as she flicked her fingers in the air.
Meng Jue coughed and immediately admitted defeat. "I will pay you."

Huo Yao raised her eyes to look at the modern lobby. It was as though she had stepped into a sci-fi world. All she could see were high-tech gadgets. Her eyes lingered on the robot on display in the middle for two seconds.
Meng Jue saw her looking at the robot and said, "That's the first generation of robots developed by DO. But the system has been updated, so it's just for display."
"Oh." Huo Yao veered her eyes. Of course she knew it was the first generation of robots. She was just curious why its color had changed. It was different from the ones she had seen a few years ago.

"Let's go to the exhibition hall on the second floor." Meng Jue pointed at the spiral staircase and led the way.

Meng Jue shook his head and walked to the black laptop in the center of the exhibition hall. He pressed the power button and said, "Let me show you a protection program."
The computer turned on in a second. He clicked a few times on the keyboard and brought up the command program panel.
Huo Yao glanced at it and frowned. "You didn't design this, did you?"
Meng Jue had no idea how Huo Yao could tell that he did not write the program. He said unhurriedly, "We received a new project. The client wants us to modify the program and upgrade the security."
Huo Yao took two steps forward and swiped her fingers on the touchpad. Half a minute later, she withdrew her hand and said calmly, "The protection program is almost perfect. There's little room for improvement."
Meng Jue glanced at Huo Yao. "You think so too?"
"Uh huh." Huo Yao contemplated before she asked him. "Has your company accepted the job?"
