Meng Ying chuckled.
"Don't disturb." Said Huo Yao unhurriedly. Under Meng Ying's stunned gaze, she added. "I have a family."
"!!!"
She understood. It was a family, not a boyfriend. This was a proper official partner, the kind that would definitely get married in the future.
After a long while, Meng Ying asked with a sigh, "Have you all planned out your future in your brains?"
It had only been half a year, and there was already an official announcement.
This made her, who was still single, feel very inferior.
"Others might not know, but at least I won't fail," replied Huo Yao lazily.
Meng Ying raised her hand and gave herself a slap.
Who told you to keep your mouth shut?
Not long after, the waiter served afternoon tea.
The two of them sat in the restaurant and chatted for more than an hour before paying the bill and leaving.
"How did you get here?" asked Huo Yao as she turned to ask Meng Ying.
"I took the subway." Meng Ying had already taken out her phone and was about to call her cousin.
Huo Yao nodded. "Are you going home or somewhere else? I can give you a ride. "
"Ah, it's fine. I sent a message to my cousin. He should be here soon." Meng Ying smiled.
Huo Yao waved her hand and said, "Okay. I'm leaving."
"Alright."
Meng Ying watched as Huo Yao walked into the parking lot. Meng Ying only veered her eyes after Huo Yao disappeared from her sight. She lowered her head and was about to make a call when her vision darkened. Someone was standing in front of her.
Meng Ying raised her head and when she saw Meng Jue, she was a little confused. "Cousin, how did you know I was here?"
Meng Jue glanced at her with disdain in his eyes. "Are you leaving or not?"
Meng Ying touched the tip of her nose, feeling insulted and hurt. "… Let's go."
Fortunately, Huo Yao had not introduced her cousin to Huo Yao today. Otherwise, it would have affected their friendship.
Meng Ying jogged to keep up with Meng Jue.

Huo Yao spent the next few days cooped up at home and spent her days relaxing. If the school had not called, she would have stayed idle until school reopened.
On the tenth day of the first month, she booked a flight back to the capital at 1 pm.
It was half past three when they arrived.
Min Yu had been waiting for her at the airport since he knew that she would be coming back today.
Before Huo Yao stepped out of the car, she saw the man standing outside the crowd.
He was wearing a dark coat and a black mask that covered most of his face. His eyebrows were strong and flamboyant, and his whole body was cold and intimidating. Almost no one dared to approach him, let alone raise their heads to look at him.
Huo Yao crossed the gate and pulled her suitcase closer. "How long have you been waiting?"
"Not too long." Min Yu took the suitcase from Huo Yao and held her hand naturally with his other hand. He said, "You look much better."
"Uh huh," acknowledged Huo Yao. She looked up at his profile as she followed him out. "Have you been busy lately?"
Looking over, his brows were filled with exhaustion.
"A little. I'll be fine after this," explained Min Yu.
Huo Yao nodded. "Take care of yourself even if you're busy."
Min Yu only squeezed her hand slightly to show that he understood.
The car was parked in a temporary parking space at the exit of the airport. Min Yu put down his suitcase and they got into the car.
Soon, he drove back to his place.
