Huo Yao raised her brow slightly and nodded before hanging up.

Before long, she walked out of the faculty. The moment she raised her head, she saw a car parked by the school's driveway.

Min Yu had his hands in his jacket pockets and was leaning against the car door lazily. His fingers were fiddling with his phone, but he straightened up when he saw Huo Yao.

"Aren't you afraid that you'll be found out when you show up on campus?" Huo Yao approached him and clicked her tongue gently.

Min Yu put his phone away and opened the door to the front passenger seat. He smiled ambiguously. "I need to earn money to get married."

Huo Yao's face trembled. She quietly bent over and got into the car.

Min Yu's lips curved up, and his cold and handsome face softened a little. He closed the car door and quickly got into the car.

The car slowly drove out of Tsing University.

"Oh yes. Old Mr. Pei came to see me this afternoon." Huo Yao casually played with the corner of her shirt as she tilted her head to look at Min Yu. "He said that Vice President Qin of the Medicine Association has the Shangguan family's medicine that can cure your unmentionable illness."

Min Yu paused for two seconds before he asked curiously. "Why didn't Old Mr. Pei come to me directly?"

"Qin Zheng wants the prescription in my hands." Huo Yao shrugged and continued. "That's probably why your unmentionable illness was triggered."

The traffic light turned red, so Min Yu stepped on the brakes slowly. After the car came to a stop, he said, "Not entirely."

The prescription was just a matter of convenience. His real motive was probably to warn him.

After all, he had not been able to find the culprit behind his back for so many years. Now that the culprit had suddenly come forward, it was not hard to guess what he was up to.

Min Yu placed his arm gently on the steering wheel and looked ahead. "They don't want me to interfere with the Medicine Association's business."

Huo Yao raised her brow and instantly understood. "Is Qin Zheng afraid that you will help Old Mr. Wang?"

"Maybe." The traffic light turned green and Min Yu started the car again. "Old Mr. Wang is probably not fit to be the president of the Medicine Association anymore, so there are bound to be people eyeing his position."

Huo Yao nodded and looked out the window. After chatting for a while, she realized that the car was not heading in the direction of the estate. She could not help turning to ask him. "Where are we going?"

"Lunch." Min Yu's phone rang the moment he finished speaking. He picked it up after glancing at the caller ID.

It was Zhuo Yun.

Huo Yao did not say a word.

Not long after, the car stopped outside a high-end restaurant. A private room had been booked in advance, and the two were directly led by the restaurant manager to a private room on the second floor.

After they ordered, Zhuo Yun came over. He nodded at Huo Yao and greeted her. He looked at Min Yu and said, "Qin Zheng does have some connections. It's a company called Vanguard Group." Min Yu nodded.

"Pioneer Group?" Min Yu narrowed his eyes. He had never heard of this company before. "Where did it come from?"

Zhuo Yun handed the documents to Min Yu and said, "It's a foreign headhunting company. They're involved in everything, but they're very low-key compared to their peers. All I could find out is that they're a small, mediocre company..."

They continued talking and did not notice the slight change in Huo Yao's expression when she heard about Vanguard Corporation.
