She flipped through the list and found Min Yu's phone number.
Huo Yao's fingers paused for a moment before she pressed the dial button.

Half an hour later.
Min Yu rushed over to see Huo Yao sitting on a chair in the corner of the hospital lobby with her head buried in her knees. She looked weak and helpless.
He walked over and sat down next to her.
Huo Yao raised her head after half a minute. Her eyes were bloodshot and her pale face had yet to recover from the exertion. "You're here."
Min Yu looked into her eyes and felt his heart clench. "What happened?"
Huo Yao shook her head.
Min Yu did not probe further since she did not want to talk about it. He reached out to hold her hands. Her hands were cold. He frowned slightly before he removed his jacket and draped it over her.
"Let's go home," said Huo Yao.
She stood up from the chair. Her legs were so weak that she almost lost her balance.
Min Yu, who was standing by the side, agreed. He picked her up and strode out of the hospital.
Huo Yao was already asleep by the time he returned to the estate. Min Yu glanced at her but did not send her home. Instead, he drove back to his place.
She did not wake up even after he parked the car in the garage.
Min Yu got out of the car and carefully carried her out. Huo Yao opened her eyes slightly and asked in a hoarse voice. "Are we there?"
"Uh huh," acknowledged Min Yu. He leaned her head against his chest. "My place."
"Okay." Huo Yao was exhausted, so she closed her eyes again.
Min Yu entered the house and carried her up to the master bedroom on the second floor.
He sat by the bed for a while and waited for her to catch her breath before he walked out of the room.
He instructed someone to investigate what had happened.

Huo Yao slept until five o 'clock in the afternoon. When she woke up, she was still in a daze when she saw the unfamiliar surroundings.
After staring blankly for two minutes, the events of last night returned to her mind. She blinked her eyes and slowly sat up on the bed.
He scanned the room and his gaze finally fell on the phone on the bedside table.
Huo Yao took the phone and checked the time. Then she lifted the blanket, got out of bed and stepped barefoot on the carpet.
At that moment, the door was pushed open and Min Yu walked in with a cup of warm water in his hand. "I knew you would wake up soon."
Huo Yao looked at him and suddenly tugged at her hair. She did not think about why she had insisted on calling him to the hospital instead of taking a cab home. Instead, she cleared her throat and said, "Good morning. Thanks."
Min Yu handed the glass to her. He seemed to be in a good mood. "It's my honor to serve my girlfriend. You don't need to thank me."
Huo Yao held the glass and took a few sips to moisten her throat. "I'm hungry. Do you have anything to eat?"
"Yes." Min Yu nodded.
"Uh huh." Huo Yao raised her head and glanced at the laptop on the table nearby. A thought crossed her mind and she said, "Can I borrow your laptop?"
Min Yu replied, "Sure."
Huo Yao thanked him again. She turned on the laptop and typed on the keyboard. Five minutes later, she closed the laptop.
Soon, the two of them went downstairs.
Huo Yao sat in the dining room and ate her porridge as she called Cheng Ming.
Cheng Ming had been keeping watch at the hospital. "Young Master Lin's condition is stable."
Huo Yao nodded. She knew what was going on and said, "Let me know if anything happens."
"Okay, Miss Huo. Take care too."
Cheng Ming looked at the dean who was walking over from the other end of the corridor. He didn't say much and hung up the phone.
