Huo Tingrui twisted his neck gently and raised his head. Then he got up from the couch and twisted his waist.
Therefore, when Song Ning and Huo Jinyan came out of the kitchen, they were greeted by the sight of their silly son twisting his waist and butt.
"Tingrui, what are you doing?" asked Song Ning in shock.
Wasn't Huo Tingrui always a refined man? Why would he do something so disgraceful?
It was an eyesore!
Huo Tingrui turned around and did not notice the look on his parents' faces. He did not stop twisting his waist and said excitedly, "Little Sis gave me a bottle of medicine. I feel so relaxed after taking it. It's amazing!"
Song Ning's lips twitched. "Mind your image!"
"Why are you twisting around like that?" Huo Jinyan added in disdain.
Huo Tingrui was speechless. "???"
Song Ning walked over and saw the porcelain bottle on the coffee table. It looked exactly the same as the one her daughter had given her. However, the color was different, and the effects were probably different.
"Your little sister's medicine is amazing. I've been having migraines for over a decade now," said Song Ning emotionally.
She did not think much of her daughter's medicine before. Little did she know that she would be slapped in the face after using it.
"Really? Why haven't I heard you talk about it lately? "asked Huo Jinyan quizzically before Huo Tingrui could reply.
He only knew that his daughter's pills were very effective.
Song Ning sat down on the couch and leaned back weakly. "I was waiting to eat it for a while longer. I wanted to let you know when I felt better."
Huo Jinyan narrowed his eyes and asked softly. "Is it really that amazing?"
He remembered that his daughter had given him a bottle too. Although the name hurt his pride, he was willing to take it if it was effective.
"Of course! Have you heard me complaining about having a headache lately? "sneered Song Ning.
"No." Huo Jinyan shook his head.
"That settles it then!" Song Ning spread her hands and looked at Huo Tingrui. She asked him quizzically. "You're so young. What's wrong with you?"
Huo Tingrui vaguely sensed something amiss when he heard his mother's words. However, he could not pinpoint the problem, so he simply said, "It's an occupational disease."
"Oh," acknowledged Song Ning before she veered her eyes.
It was fine as long as it did not affect him dating.
"Yaoyao, where did you get this medicine from?" asked Huo Tingrui curiously.
Huo Yao lowered her eyes and replied calmly. "A friend of mine studies medicine."
"Oh, I see." Huo Tingrui contemplated for a few seconds, but he did not probe further. Instead, he said, "Since the medicine works so quickly, there shouldn't be any side effects, right?"
Although Huo Yao was doubted, she expressed her understanding. She contemplated for two seconds before she said patiently, "The essence of Chinese medicine is that it doesn't harm the foundation and strengthens the body. It has minimal side effects. Of course, it's not a joke to say that medicine is 30% poisonous."
Huo Tingrui was not an expert, so he could not grasp the essence of it. However, he could understand that his little sister would not give him a problematic medicine.
"Brother Tingrui was being too obvious." Huo Tingrui scratched his head and felt ashamed for doubting his mother.
Huo Yao raised her brow gently. "It would be weird if you didn't."
Huo Tingrui smiled. He felt that his little sister was a treasure.
Interesting.
