However, when she walked out, all she saw was a cloud of dust on the mountain path, and the young man in red was nowhere to be seen.
"He left just like that?" The woman stomped her foot and bit her lip. She had not even asked for the young man's name!
In the night, a white horse and a young man in red were rushing along the mountain path. As they galloped, the night wind blew against their faces, making their eyes hurt.
Lao Bai asked as he ran, "Master, is it really okay to leave that beauty there? What if she gets into danger? " In his opinion, the woman was beautiful and had a voluptuous figure. If she went on the road alone, she would be in danger.
If his master was willing to bring her along, perhaps he would not be so worried.
Hearing this, Fengjiu curled his lips and revealed a wicked smile, "Lao Bai, when we get home, I'll find you a female horse! How about I let you settle down? "
"Master, I'm a mutant. How can a normal horse be worthy of me? No, no. "
As they galloped in the night, his voice was scattered by the wind. The man and the horse chatted until they saw a small village when the sky gradually brightened.
"Master, we have a small village. Let's go and rest!" As Lao Bai spoke, he had already started walking towards the village.
"When we enter the village, don't open your mouth to speak, or you'll scare people," Fengjiu instructed.
"Okay, I know," Lao Bai replied.
It answered and then closed its mouth. Following the village road, they saw some people carrying hoes or two wooden buckets out of their houses in the morning. Some of the roofs had smoke rising in spirals. It was obvious that they were already preparing breakfast.
Fengjiu dismounted from his horse and led Lao Bai to a house. He knocked on the door, "Is anyone home?"
The simple wooden door creaked open, and an old woman came out to open the door. When she saw Fengjiu, who was dressed in red and looked as handsome as an immortal, she was startled. She asked cautiously, "Young master, is there anything I can help you with?"
Seeing that it was the old woman, she smiled and asked, "Elder, I'm passing by and would like to rest here. Is that okay?"
"Of course you can. It's just that my house is simple and crude. I hope Young Master doesn't mind." As the old woman spoke, she opened the door and invited Fengjiu in. Seeing the horse in Fengjiu's hand, she said, "Young Master, this horse can be tied to the wooden stake in front of the door."
"Alright." She responded and tied Lao Bai to a wooden stake in front of the door. She patted his head and gave him a few instructions before entering the wooden house.
"Young Master, there isn't anything good in the house. Please don't mind and just eat a little." The old woman brought Fengjiu a bowl of millet porridge, a small plate of pickled vegetables, and two pumpkin pancakes.
Looking at the farmer's snacks, Fengjiu smiled and squinted his eyes. He quickly expressed his gratitude. "Thank you, Elder." Out of the corner of her eye, she caught a glimpse of a five or six-year-old boy with a ponytail poking his head out and staring at her curiously.
"Is this your grandson?" She looked at the child and asked with a smile.
"Yes, he's my grandson." The old woman revealed a loving smile and waved at the little boy. "Xiao Hu, come out and greet Young Master."
The little boy blinked and shyly looked at Fengjiu. He ran out and hid behind his grandmother.
