I forgot who asked me to play Lance's game. I forgot the time. I just finished one chapter, and I guess I can only update twice … Lance's game is really time-consuming!

Somewhere underground in San Tlal, Central City …

"Where's Enby?" The woman who attacked Mastheus last time looked at Enby and asked curiously.

"He didn't come back, Lassiter." A short and fat man with a big round nose who was much shorter than the woman said in a childish and somewhat demented voice.

"Hmm? We agreed to meet here after we dealt with Mastheus. Why hasn't he come back yet? " Lassiter muttered. She didn't expect the short and fat man to answer and directly ordered, "Grattoni, can you smell Enby's scent?"

"Yes, Lassiter." The short and fat man looked at Lassiter with innocent eyes and said childishly.

"Go find him," Lassiter said.

"Okay! Can I eat this? Lassiter. " Grattoni answered and then pointed at a non-humanoid creature next to him with a greedy look.

"Eat it," Lassiter said.

"Ha …" Grattoni happily opened his mouth and spat out a mouthful of saliva. His eyes flashed red and he quickly rushed to the creature on the ground. Grattoni didn't even chew, but in a few bites, he ate the creature that was almost the same size as him. Not even a bone was left.

"Let's go, Grattoni." Lassiter, who had already walked a distance, called out.

"Oh!" Grattoni patted his stomach and yawned with satisfaction. Then, he hurriedly followed them.

The two quickly came to the surface from the depths of the underground. Grattoni, who was next to Lassiter, sniffed, but soon with a puzzled expression, he said, "It's strange. Enby's scent disappeared."

"Hmm?" Lassiter looked at Grattoni suspiciously. She knew that Grattoni would never lie, so she began to think seriously. After a while, she said, "Can you find the place where Enby's scent disappeared?"

"Yes," Grattoni said with a grin.

"Take me there," Lassiter ordered.

"Okay, Lassiter." Grattoni answered and immediately jumped up. Although Grattoni was quite fat, his agility was superb.

The two of them did not take the usual route. Soon, they arrived at the place where Enby's scent disappeared. There, a large number of soldiers were on guard. A yellow cordon was pulled open, surrounding Mastheus's body and the phone booth in the center.

"Are these edible, Lassiter?" Glattoni looked at the busy soldiers below and drooled again. He asked Last with a longing expression.

"No," Lust replied with a frown as she thought about it. After a while, Lassiter, who still had no clue, had to return to the original place with Grattoni, who was drooling all over the floor.

Two days later …

"Ding dong!" Sei Itō's doorbell suddenly rang.

In the room, Ya Ye's body suddenly tensed up, and then he asked, "Who is it!"

"Hello, may I ask if this is His Excellency Sei Itō's home?" A young man's voice came from outside the door.

"Please wait a moment." Ya Ye responded and then walked to the door. After seeing through the peephole that it was a young man and a young woman, he opened the door. However, his muscles were still half tense. If the other party made any strange movements, he would definitely launch a sharp counterattack.

"Creak!" The door was gently pushed open by Ya Ye.

"Hello, may I ask if His Excellency Sei Itō is home?" The man asked again.

"Sorry, Ah Cheng just went out. What can I do for you?" Ya Ye asked.

"It's like this. My name is Roy Mustang, and the person beside me is my adjutant. I have something to ask him about Mastheus," Mustang said at the door while sizing up Ya Ye without batting an eyelid.

"Why don't you come in and wait for him?" Hearing Mustang's words, Ya Ye hesitated and said.

"Okay!" Mustang immediately answered, completely ignoring whether his words were abrupt or polite.

"Please come in." Ya Ye was stunned for a moment before opening the door and letting Mustang and Mustang in. After the two of them sat on the sofa, he said, "Have a seat first, I'll go get you some tea."

He turned around and went into the kitchen … Soon, he came out with two cups of green tea and placed them in front of Mustang and Mustang before sitting down on the empty single-seater sofa on the other side.

"Gulp ~ Delicious tea!" Mustang picked up the teacup in front of him and took a sip before praising.

"You're too kind." Ya Ye smiled humbly.

"I still don't know how to address you, Miss." Mustang tried to communicate with Ya Ye.

"Ya Ye, Ya Ye," Ya Ye said.

"Oh, what a strange name. Is Miss Ya Ye an Asian?" Mustang continued to ask.

"Well, I guess so." Ya Ye didn't understand if the Asians here had such names, so she hesitated for a moment before answering with uncertainty. While she was hesitating, Mustang's eyes immediately lit up.

"Are you and Mr. Sei Itō from the same place?" Mustang continued to ask.

"Well, I guess so." Ya Ye said with uncertainty again.

"It must be hard for you to leave your hometown and come here." Mustang's eyes flashed and he didn't ask the previous question. Instead, he changed the topic.

"No, other than being a little uncomfortable at first, everything else is fine." Ya Ye smiled casually.

"Is that so? I heard …"

Just like that, the two of them chatted casually. Most of the time, Mustang asked questions and Ya Ye answered. The naive Ya Ye was no match for the cunning Mustang. She didn't notice that some of the information in her seemingly casual conversation had been exposed.

Just when the two were chatting happily, the door suddenly opened after a "creak" sound. Ito Sei in a black trench coat walked in from the outside.

"Ah Cheng, you're back." Ya Ye quickly got up from the sofa and went to Sei Itō to take the trench coat and hang it on the hanger.

"I'm back." Ito Sei said. Then, he looked up at Mustang and the other man sitting in the room and said in surprise, "What a rare guest. I wonder what brought you here, Colonel Mustang."

Mustang didn't mind the teasing in Sei Itō's words and said seriously to Sei Itō, "Mr. Sei Itō, I have some questions for you. I hope you can answer truthfully."

The atmosphere in the room immediately changed after Mustang spoke.

Ito Sei frowned, glanced at Mustang and his beautiful adjutant, then walked to the sofa where Ya was sitting just now and sat down. He relaxed his body and leaned against the back of the chair, crossed one leg over the other, and said, "What's the matter?"

Mustang's beautiful adjutant, Lisa, looked at Sei Itō and frowned. She didn't say anything and just sat there quietly to listen to the conversation.

"Mr. Sei Itō, do you know Mastheus?" Mustang looked at Sei Itō and asked.

"We met once in the ward of the [Steel] Alchemist, but we didn't talk to each other," Ito Sei replied truthfully, and then asked, "Why?"

"Is that so?" It was the beautiful adjutant who had been sitting next to him who said, "Lieutenant Massius was killed two nights ago. Don't you know about it, sir?" "Yes, sir," Massius said in a low voice.

"I don't pay much attention to the situation in the military." Sei Itō shrugged.

"Then, Mr. Sei Itō, may I ask where you were two nights ago?" Mustang raised his head and stared at Sei Itō as if he was interrogating a criminal.

"Lieutenant Mustang, you look like you want to interrogate me like I'm a criminal." Looking at Mastan's appearance, Ito Sei frowned in dissatisfaction and said in a loud voice.

"My apologies." Mustang apologized but didn't stop his actions. He still stared at Sei Itō and waited for his answer.

"If you continue to act like this, then I don't think we need to talk anymore." Yi Tengcheng lowered his eyes and said in a deep voice.

What followed was a long period of silence. After a while, Mastan withdrew his gaze and stopped staring at Ito Tensei as if he was interrogating a criminal. He then asked again, "May I ask, Mr. Ito Tensei, where were you two nights ago?"

"At home." Sei Itō saw that Mustang stopped his actions and replied.

"Is that so … I see. Thank you for your cooperation, Mr. Sei Itō." Mustang heard Sei Itō's answer and pondered for a moment. Then, he stood up and extended his hand in front of Sei Itō.

"You're welcome." Ito Sei also stood up from the sofa. He shook Mustang's hand for a moment and then let go as he said indifferently.

"Sorry to disturb you." Mustang turned around and prepared to leave Sei Itō's house with his adjutant. But just as he was about to step out of Sei Itō's house, he suddenly stopped and said with his back facing Sei Itō, "I heard Major Armstrong said that you and the President had an argument in Edward's ward that day, right?"

"Yeah." Sei Itō didn't deny it, but his tone was a little strange.

"Goodbye," Mastan said, then slammed the door shut with a bang.
