Qin Di blinked and said, "Is there a difference in seniority? The people living on the high mountains are of high seniority? Or is it a disciple valued by the Patriarch? Or maybe people with high cultivation skills live there? "
"No, no. The Four Elements of Buddhism are empty. The Patriarch treats all disciples equally, and there is no distinction between high and low. These mountains represent the level of Buddha nature. Every disciple who enters the Lingtai Fangcun Mount, whether they are official disciples or handyman disciples, has a place to stand. If you are enlightened on the Dharma, this place will continue to rise, forming small mountains, peaks, and mountains! "
"Oh, I see! Master, how high is your mountain? "
"I am only the Bodhisattva of the Eight Earthly Realms, so I created a small mountain of 800 feet!"
Qin Di thought, "I am the Bodhisattva of the Seven Earthly Realms. Can I create a small mountain of 700 feet?"
Master Xu Yun led him to the foot of the Xu Yun Peak where he lived. He pointed at an empty space and said, "Qin Ku, you will live here from now on! This is the foundation of your Buddhist land. You've only learned a little bit of the Diamond Sutra, and you haven't fully comprehended it. In the next ten days, I will impart the true Dharma to you! When you finish learning the foundational Dharma, your Buddha nature will increase a lot. "
Qin Di looked around and found that some people's Buddhas were not as high as his. He felt a little better and said, "Master, ten days is too short. Buddhism is broad and profound. How can I learn it?"
Master Xu Yun smiled and said, "One day here is equivalent to a thousand years outside. Have you noticed that you've been in here for a while? Have you seen the sun in the sky move an inch? "
Qin Di looked up at the sky. Although this was a pure land of Buddhism, there was also a sun. He looked carefully for a while, and sure enough, the sun did not move as fast as the outside world.

On the first day, he learned the Prajna Paramita Sutra. This sutra was very short, only a few hundred words, but it was very profound.
Master Xu Yun asked him to memorize the sutra and recite it every two hours. He also exhorted, "This sutra is very important. Some people can also achieve very good results by reciting the sutra."
Qin Di did as he was told. Every time he recited it, he gained something new.
At the end of the first day, when the cave opened again in the morning, his Buddha Mountain was already more than 300 feet high!
The next day, he learned the Vajra Prajna Paramita Sutra.
Master Xu Yun said, "The Vajra Sutra is of moderate length and is one of the core Buddhist scriptures. Many people have been practicing this sutra for a long time, which is also what Patriarch Bodhi values the most. It is full of Buddha's words to Patriarch Bodhi. The Buddhist theory is very profound, and you can't understand it in a short time. Memorize it first! "
Qin Di memorized the Vajra Sutra. He had 129,600 hours a day, which was enough for him to study it carefully.
At the end of the day, his Buddha Mountain grew to a hundred feet high.
On the third day, Master Xu Yun taught him the Surangama Sutra.
The Surangama Sutra was called the Surangama Sutra to open up wisdom. This sutra was mainly taught by Buddha to Venerable Ananda, who was the most knowledgeable among his disciples. Being knowledgeable meant being knowledgeable. Accordingly, Ananda's cultivation was the worst among the senior disciples, and he couldn't resist the temptation of women, just like ordinary people. He was very knowledgeable but had little cultivation. Therefore, this sutra was very suitable for Qin Di.
Although the Surangama Sutra was long, the Buddhist theory was quite thorough and easy to understand. What made Qin Di like was that the text of this sutra was brilliant, amazing, and easy to read.
Master Xu Yun explained the sutra, and then asked Qin Di to recite it!
The Surangama Sutra had more than 62,000 words, which was too difficult for mortals to memorize. However, Qin Di had the foundation of a ninth-stage Celestial Immortal, so he memorized the sutra with just a sweep of his Divine Sense!
On the fourth day, Master Xu Yun taught him the Lotus Sutra.
This sutra was called the Wonderful Method to Become Buddha, and the original text called it the first sutra, which showed its importance. This sutra was also relatively long, with more than 80,000 words, divided into 28 levels, and profound Buddhist theory. Before reading this sutra, one must have confidence in Buddha. Otherwise, one might not believe in Buddha after reading it, and even slander the sutra, which might lead to great retribution. It was better not to read it.
On the fifth day, Master Xu Yun taught him the Avatamsaka Sutra.
This sutra was the first sutra that Gautama Buddha preached after becoming Buddha, and it was most suitable for people with deep Buddhist roots. When Gautama Buddha first became Buddha, it was like the sun had just risen, and its light shone on the mountains. In the end, when he preached the Lotus Sutra, it was like the sun was about to set. In contrast, the Surangama Sutra, the Diamond Sutra, and the Heart Sutra were like the sun in the sky, which could illuminate the whole person.
The Avatamsaka Sutra was very long, with 80 volumes and a total of more than 1.4 million words.
This large sutra was like an encyclopedia. Master Xu Yun didn't ask Qin Di to memorize it, but Qin Di refused to give up. He spent several hours reciting all the sutra.
Next, Qin Di learned the Amitabha Sutra on the sixth day, the Immeasurable Life Sutra on the seventh day, and the Observing Immeasurable Life Sutra on the eighth day.
These three sutras all talked about Amitabha and Western Paradise. Among them, "Immeasurable Life" was one of the original meanings of "Amitabha." Those who wanted to cultivate a pure land and be reborn in Western Paradise would choose these three sutras as their first choice.
On the ninth day, Qin Di learned the Naga-Agama Sutra.
This was the core sutra of Hinayana Buddhism, which mainly talked about meditation and other practices.
On the tenth day, Master Xu Yun taught him the Ksitigarbha Sutra.
