Chapter 764

Words:1626Update:22/06/17 11:17:24

Report

To be honest, Jon didn't like this situation.

He suddenly returned to his life in school a long time ago, but this time, he didn't need to go to class. He only needed to cooperate with Dumbledore to do some things.

And some of the things he did were his own.

Dumbledore gave him fake grades. This was something that Jon didn't dare to imagine in the past. For someone like Dumbledore to actually tamper with a student's grades, it was inconceivable no matter how he thought about it.

But looking at Dumbledore's performance, this matter shouldn't be a big deal, so Jon was relieved.

It was just a grade anyway.

It didn't matter whether he had this grade or not. He didn't care much about it.

Recently, he had been hanging out with Pippi. Almost no one in the school could see through his concealment magic, which allowed him to appear anywhere. The various facilities in the Hogwarts that prohibited magic had no effect on him. Part of it was because he was a descendant of Hufflepuff, and the other part was because the Magic Net was becoming a part of the Hogwarts Castle.

The intelligence of the Hogwarts Castle, which was the Spirit Hogwarts, couldn't affect the existence of the Magic Net. It was just like how it couldn't stop Helga from using the castle to maintain the existence of space. The Hogwarts Castle was only a protective measure for the Magic Net, and couldn't cause any interference to the Magic Net.

But this was enough to bring benefits to the Hogwarts.

"How do you feel now, Hogwarts?" "Not bad.

"Not bad. I feel like my intelligence has greatly improved. I can already receive information from all directions. According to the information I received before, my current state is probably no different from a network server."

"There is still a difference. At least in this era, Muggle hasn't developed a high-end artificial intelligence like you, but there may be no more Muggle in the future."

Jon patted the virtual figure in front of him. The power of magic could indeed interfere with real matter. At least, the virtual figure he patted now was solid.

"You and Mischievous Ghost are indeed a good pair. Then continue to work together. I'll come back to see you after a while."

The matter here was basically over, and Jon himself could not stay here for too long.

After all, he was quite busy.

After coming down from upstairs, he saw these people who were confronting each other.

It was just that he was hiding behind the magic, so no one could see him.

Malfoy's hand reached for his wand, but Harry was faster. Before Malfoy's fingers could reach the pockets of his robe, he had the wand in his hand.

"Potter!"

The voice came from the other end of the porch. Jon stopped and turned around.

Snape appeared at the top of the stairs leading to his office. Harry gritted his teeth at the sight of him, a feeling that went far beyond his dislike of Malfoy.

"What are you doing, Potter?"

Snape said as he strode towards the four of them. His tone was as cold as before.

"I was wondering what spell to use on Malfoy, sir," said Harry angrily.

Snape glared at Harry.

"Put away your wand at once," he shouted, "and deduct ten points from Gryffindor —"

Snape looked at the huge hourglass on the wall and smiled contemptuously.

"Ah, I realized that there are no more points in Gryffindor's hourglass to be deducted. In that case, Potter, we'll just have to - "

"Add some more points?"

Professor McGonagall was walking on the stone steps leading into the castle; she carried a tartan portmanteau in one hand, and leaned heavily on a crutch in the other, but she looked fairly well.

"Professor Mag!" Snape went up to him. "Looks like you just came out of St. Mungo's Magic Hospital!"

"Yes, Professor Snape," Professor McGonagall said as he shook off his traveling cloak. "I feel like a new person. You two — Crab-Gore-'

She beckoned them to her in a commanding manner, and they shuffled slowly up to her.

"Here," said Professor McGonagall, thrusting the portmanteau into Crabbe's arms and the cloak into Gore-' s. "Take these into my office."

They turned and went up the marble steps and stumbled away.

"Next," said Professor McGonagall, looking up at the hourglass on the wall. "So, I think Potter and his companions should get fifty points each. For it was they who warned everyone that the Mystery Man was back!

What do you think, Professor Snape? "

"What?"

Asked Snape in surprise, and Harry thought he must have heard it clearly. "Oh — yes — I think —"

"So, Potter, the Weasleys, Longbottom, and Miss Granger get fifty points each."

As Professor McGonagall spoke, a great number of rubies fell into the sphere at the bottom of Gryffindor's hourglass.

"Oh — and I think Lovegood's fifty points," she added, and some of the sapphires fell into Ravenclaw's hourglass. "And now you're going to deduct ten points from Potter. I think, Professor Snape — well, that's it …"

A few of the rubies flew back into the upper sphere, but even so, there was still a considerable number left.

"Well, Potter, Malfoy.

I think you ought to be out in this fine weather, "continued Professor McGonagall cheerfully.

Harry obeyed and left the castle, and went to Hagrid's hut.

The students were lying in the sun here and there on the grass, some talking, some reading the Sunday Prophet.

They all looked at him as he passed, and some called out to him, or waved to him, evidently eager to show that they had already decided him to be more or less a hero, as the Daily Prophet thought him to be.

Harry made no reply.

When he knocked at the door of Hagrid's hut, he thought at first that he was not at home, but soon Fang rushed round the corner to welcome him so warmly that he almost knocked him over.

Fang told him that Hagrid was in the back yard, picking saffron beans.

"Very good, Harry!" Shouted Hagrid cheerfully to Harry, who was coming towards the fence. "Come in, come in, and let's have a cup of dandelion juice."

"Are you all right?"

Asked Hagrid as they sat down at the wooden table, each with a glass of iced juice in front of him.

"You feel — all right, don't you?"

Harry could tell by the look of concern on his face that he was not asking about his health.

"I'm all right," said Harry quickly. He knew what was on Hagrid's mind, and he didn't want to talk about it. "So, where have you been?"

"He's been hiding out in the mountains," said Hagrid. "In a cave up there, just like Sirius -"
