I remember it in one second.
Wonderful, no pop-up window free reading!
Outside the French windows, the city in the night was shining with neon lights, looking gorgeous and charming.
The young men and women eating by the window were eating and chatting with each other. Their every move was even more dazzling than the night outside the window.
Since they were both drunk, Fu Hancheng contacted the driver at home to pick them up.
The cameraman arranged by the program team was only there to film their date, so after the two of them finished eating and were ready to go home, he did not follow them back.
Also, he did not have the courage to take the same car as them.
He filmed Fu Hancheng opening the door for Gu Weiwei and letting her into the car, before he went around to the other side and opened the door for himself.
Their car drove away and the cameraman officially ended the filming.
Although it had only been two hours, one could imagine that after the next episode was broadcasted, there would be another pot of sweet PDA.
Gu Weiwei was sitting in the car with the flowers in her arms. She was a bit tipsy because of the wine, so she leaned against the window and watched for a while. Then she suddenly had an idea and said to Fu Hancheng.
"Let's find a place to watch the stars."
Fu Hanzheng chuckled, but he nodded as she wished and said to the driver in front.
"Let's go to Yuhua Terrace in the suburbs in the north."
Gu Weiwei asked, "You even know a place to watch the stars, who have you taken there before?"
"He Chi likes to watch the stars, he said so." Fu Hancheng said.
Gu Weiwei tilted her head and leaned against him with a smile.
"Have we seen the stars before?"
"We saw them by the sea in Dubai." Fu Hancheng said.
On the way home, they took a detour out of the city and drove for more than an hour to a secluded mountain area.
They got out of the car and walked a few hundred steps to the top of the mountain under the moonlight. Without the light pollution of the city, the bright starry sky appeared in front of them.
They sat on the steps at the top of the mountain and Gu Weiwei was still holding the roses that Fu Hancheng had given her.
The night breeze was cool and there was a faint fragrance of roses in the air.
"Mr. Fu, are you satisfied with your date today?"
Fu Hancheng turned his head to look at her. "If you give me another kiss, I'll be even more satisfied."
Hearing his words, Gu Weiwei kissed him with a smile.
However, Fu Hancheng took the opportunity to reach out and hold her face, kissing her even more tenderly.
After a while, he finally let go of her lips and gave her space to breathe.
Gu Weiwei took a while to calm down. When he looked up, he saw a shooting star streaking across the night sky.
"There's a shooting star!"
Fu Hancheng smiled and asked, "You want to make a wish?"
"No way. In ancient times, meteors were called jinxes. Now, people think that they have spirituality and can help people experiment on their wishes. Isn't this a contradiction?" Gu Weiwei muttered a few words and turned to look at her with a grin. "If I want to make a wish, wouldn't it be more effective to make it to you?"
Fu Hancheng chuckled. "What do you wish for?"
Gu Weiwei smiled deeply. Her eyes were brighter than the starry sky.
"I wish that we can grow old together."
Occasionally, she would sigh about why she had met him so late.
But occasionally, she would think that she was lucky to have met him. Why should she wish for the past that she had missed?
The most important thing was that they were together now and would be together in the future. They would be together forever.
Fu Hancheng stretched out his arms and hugged the woman sitting next to him. "Okay, I'll accept this wish."
He had once regretted that he had not met her earlier and that he had not been able to protect her when she was at her most helpless and desperate.
But they were both mortals and could not turn back time. Fortunately, although she had taken a detour, she had still come to his side and … would never leave again.
