Chapter 135

I finished writing the first volume. Writing this volume really took a lot of effort, so I decided to take a break by writing some random notes.
The reason I wrote a book was simple: there were no books to read.
Ten years ago, I read a novel and fantasized about a letter.
The letter didn't come.
It was very uncomfortable.
Ten years ago, I also read online novels and felt very good. But that was ten years ago.
Although I've grown up, I still want to pursue that feeling.
That feeling of the soul trembling.
So I wrote.
It had nothing to do with money or reputation.
It's just a story.
I have a habit of tearing up manuscripts. I tore up 200,000 words for the first volume, 100,000 for the second volume, and without a doubt, I still have to tear up the third volume.
A good story needs time to craft.
Or rather, everything is like this.
I already have the outline for the third volume, but I don't want to rush it.
I can't let myself touch it.
What I write is all rubbish.
It's meaningless to me.
So I set aside five days for myself to prepare.
