A few days after Halloween, Sirius Black was the talk of the school. Love ↑ Go △ Little ↓ Say △ Net

The focus of the discussion was on how he entered the castle. Elwyn had heard that Blake could turn invisible, change his appearance, and transform into other things. Hannah from Hufflepuff even wrote an article for Hogwarts Magic Daily. She swore that she had seen Blake transform into a flowering shrub with her own eyes.

The article was vetoed by Hermione before it reached Elwyn.

Thanks to the series of articles about the Dementors, Hogwarts Magic Daily had been selling well since the beginning of the school year. The issue with the Charm of Protection had set an all-time high, with more than two thousand copies printed.

In addition to the young wizards in school, many adult wizards also learned the Charm of Protection from Hogwarts Magic Daily. Elwyn had just discovered that so many people did not know about the Charm. He was worried about the overall strength of the magic community.

Apart from the rumor that was getting more and more exaggerated, many things had changed in the castle.

For example, the damaged portrait of the Fat Lady had been taken down from the wall. In its place was a portrait of Sir Cadogan in full armor and his fat gray pony.

No one was happy about this. Sir Cadogan spent half of his time challenging people to duel with him. The rest of his time was spent figuring out the ridiculously complicated password. He had to change it twice a day.

Another example was that Harry was now under strict surveillance. Love ↑ Go △ Little ↓ Say △ Net

The professors walked with him in the corridors for all sorts of reasons and excuses, and Percy followed him everywhere, like a guard dog of the most pompous sort.

The one who was most affected by Blake's invasion of the castle was Peter the Dwarf.

Ron told Elwyn that the rat tonic he gave him had no effect. Scabby didn't eat anything other than water. It curled up in a corner under the bed and didn't move at all, as if it were dead.

More accurately, it was waiting for death. Elwyn had already tested it. The tracking potion worked. He could sense Scabby's location within a hundred feet.

The next step was to find a chance to contact Sirius Black and end this year's incident. However, the previous two failed contacts had made Blake wary of Elwyn. He became more careful. Elwyn had no idea where he was hiding.

According to the original plot, Blake should be hiding in the Screaming Shack. However, Elwyn went to check after Halloween. He wasn't there.

On Halloween night, Lupin saw Blake. He knew about the Screaming Shack. With how careful Blake was, it was impossible for him to stay there.

Just like how Lupin didn't trust Blake, Blake didn't trust Lupin either.

Twelve years of living in Azkaban had left him with very little rationality. He didn't even trust Dumbledore. All he could think about now was revenge. Love ↑ Go △ Little ↓ Say △ Net

Blake was probably hiding in the Forbidden Forest. Elwyn wasn't interested in looking for a dog in the forest. He decided to devise a plan to lure him out.

At the lunch table, Elwyn saw Mount Crook running out of the hall with a big piece of bread in its mouth. He suddenly had an idea. Maybe he could make use of it.

Hermione was ridiculously smart. Sometimes, Elwyn wondered if it was also an Animagus. He must have become friends with Sirius Blake now, and the bread he took just now was probably for Blake.

As Elwyn stared at Mount Crook, he saw Harry, Ron, and Hermione walk into the hall with a depressed look.

"Do you know what Snape asked me to do? He asked me to clean the chamber pot in the school hospital. I'm not allowed to use magic! " Ron was so angry that he clenched his fists. "Why can't Blake hide in Snape's office? Then he can kill him for us!"

"That's not right, Ron! Isn't there a Defense Against Dark Magic class in the morning? "Corin asked uneasily." Why were you grounded by Snape? "

"Good question, Corin!" Ron snorted. "I was grounded by Snape during the Defense Against Dark Magic class in the morning. Then, I have to endure him again during the Potions class in the afternoon."

"But, why?"

"Because Snape said that Professor Lupin was too sick to attend the class. He was the one who taught the Defense Against Dark Magic class." Harry also sat down angrily. "It must be Snape's doing. Do you remember that I said he made a potion for Professor Lupin a few days ago? He must have put something in the potion!"

Ron agreed with Harry, but Elwyn knew that the potion Snape made was the wolfsbane potion. This potion had to be taken a week before the night of the full moon.

Looking at the time, these few days should be the days when Lupin transformed. No wonder they didn't see him at all.

"Don't be silly, Harry. Why did Snape do this?" Hermione took out her Defense Against Dark Magic textbook.

"Is there a need to ask? He has always wanted to teach this class." Ron shouted. "Look at what he did in class. He used half the class to criticize Professor Lupin's teaching methods and used the rest of the class to ask us a strange question!"

"What did he ask?"

"It's a werewolf, Corin!" Ron turned his head and said, "Snape kept asking us how to identify werewolves. Hermione obviously knew the answer, but he didn't let her answer. I asked him why he kept asking us this question if he didn't want to know the answer. Then he grounded me!"

"But there must be a reason. Why did he want me to know how to identify werewolves?" Hermione said thoughtfully.

"Anything is possible. Maybe he was bitten by a crazy werewolf. That's why his brain is so abnormal!" Ron said angrily. "Look, Snape gave us homework after class. It's a thesis on how to identify and kill werewolves. There are at least two pieces of parchment paper. He must be crazy!"

"The difference between werewolves and real wolves, and the symptoms of werewolves in human form." Hermione looked carefully in her Defense Against Dark Magic textbook.

"Oh my god, Hermione. Are you really going to finish that homework? Understand an evil werewolf and kill him?"

"The middle finger and ring finger are the same length. Weakness. Full moon. Transformation time. Something to be afraid of." Hermione ignored him. Her hand moved quickly through the books. Then, she seemed to find something. She suddenly raised her head. Her beautiful maroon eyes were filled with fear.

"Werewolves are not necessarily evil, Ron!" Seeing Hermione's expression, Elwyn knew that she had found out the truth. He sighed and said, "Wizards usually think that werewolves are irrational and emotionless. They only know how to destroy and kill. They are filled with a thirst for blood. In fact, this view is wrong."

"You have to know that even a person with a pure heart, a person who doesn't forget to pray at night, will inevitably turn into a wolf on a full moon night when the crow's head grass is in full bloom!" Elwyn looked calmly at Hermione. "But he is good at heart. We can't not trust him just because he is a werewolf."

"Is that so, Elwyn?!" Hermione asked uncertainly. She didn't know why, but under his gaze, she suddenly wasn't so worried.

"That's right. I trust him!" Elwyn nodded.
