Chapter 781

Words:1480Update:22/06/22 11:13:02

Report

It was a small platform on the rock wall. There were about a hundred of them, and all of them were filled with house-elves.

They looked like real slaves. Their faces were sallow and skinny, and they were wearing dirty, simple clothes. There were shackles and chains on their wrists and feet. Their eyes were as big as light bulbs, and they were holding huge pickaxes that were disproportionately big, and they were digging hard at the topaz on the rock wall.

Elwyn pointed forward. He and Sirius looked at each other and carefully walked towards the stone door.

On a tall stone platform to the left of the stone door stood a fierce-looking man in a black robe. He held a magic wand in his hand.

Elwyn saw a strange badge on his chest. It was a raven with its wings spread, and its eyes were strange sapphires.

This guy was from Raven's Claw, and he was monitoring the work of the house-elves.

"Hurry up, you ugly little monsters!" He roared, his face ferocious. "Don't let me see you slacking off. Otherwise, you know what will happen to you. I'll throw you lazy elves into the lava."

Hearing his roar, many of the house-elves trembled uncontrollably.

On the platform on the rock wall, one of the house-elves swung his pickaxe a little slower …

In the next second, a green light hit him.

He let out an ear-piercing scream, and his body fell to the ground, trembling and sobbing uncontrollably.

Elwyn frowned. It was the Heart Drilling Curse!

To use this kind of spell to torture the house-elves, this guy was really a Black Wizard.

There were many ways to make the house-elves listen, but the Heart Drilling Curse was definitely the cruelest one.

"Trash, it's your honor to serve the great Raven's Claw. You should offer your blood and soul to the master." The wizard said disdainfully. "But since you're still useful …"

"Okay, Kajar, stop torturing these elves!" A man walked out from the stone door.

He also had the Raven badge on his chest, but his eyes were red.

"Greetings, Messenger of Disaster!" Kajar said respectfully, and bowed slightly.

What a strange title. Elwyn looked at the wizard who walked out of the stone door where the Cyclops' body was.

He was of medium height and wore a set of gorgeous wizard robes with dark blue and purple hues. His head was covered by a hood, and his face could not be seen clearly. Only his pale skin could be seen. His hair was even whiter than his skin.

What caught people's attention was the ice-cold aura that emanated from his entire body. Even though the surroundings were filled with scorching lava, after seeing him, Elwyn still felt a chill that came from the depths of his soul.

Just like Keresis, the magic that emanated from his body was not the magic that a normal human wizard should have.

Elwyn's gaze focused on the impenetrable shadow under the mask. He had a feeling that this guy was very dangerous.

Sirius gently pulled Elwyn. They hid behind the rocks near the stone platform and eavesdropped on the conversation between the two.

"You can't torture these house-elves to death, Kajar. I know it's cool, but we still need them to dig crystals. They're already very slow. If they all die, we won't be able to find other creatures to replace them."

"I know what I'm doing. I'm just scaring these little monsters to make them work harder." Kajar seemed to be a little scared, and he tried to explain, "Great Messenger of Disaster, they're too slow. I think the giants up there are not bad. They're much stronger than these ugly little monsters!"

"The giants are not creatures that can be easily enslaved, and it's easy to attract the attention of the outside world." The wizard paused for a moment, and then continued, "We have to be careful. There are many wizards from England on this island. They're the followers of Dumbledore and The Dark Lord. They're all planning to recruit the giants. Don't let them find this place."

"Is the Dark Lord that wizard you mentioned?!" Kajar's face showed a trace of surprise. "I thought he was long dead!"

"He's different from us. He has conquered death! One day, as long as we summon our master back to this world, we will obtain eternal life in the new world after the judgment and become the supreme existence. "

"I can't wait for this day to come. Let this filthy world be reborn under its wrath."

"Alright, Kajar. Learn to be patient. For this noble goal, we must wait in pain and suffering." The man's voice was bone-chilling, and he slowly said, "The first step is often the most difficult. We haven't accumulated enough power, but as long as we take the first step, the rest will become easy."

"Yes, Messenger of Disaster. I will remember your teachings," Kajar said and bowed slightly.

This fierce-looking dark wizard seemed to be afraid of the man in front of him. He was afraid of this guy called the "Messenger of Disaster."

His attitude was very respectful, which was not something that a Dark Sorcerer should have.

"The return of the Dark Lord is a good thing. We can work with him again and infiltrate our forces back into England. That ancient magic academy hides important information, and we must get it." The wizard looked at Kajar and said in a cold voice, "I will leave for a while to meet the Dark Demon in England and ask to rejoin his army."

"That's good news. I like the Dark Lord and the Death Eaters. They can kill Muggle, mixed-blood wizards, and other creatures at will. This is something I've always hoped for." Kajar licked his dry lips, and a cruel smile appeared on his face.

Elwyn and Sirius looked at each other. The remaining dark wizards of Raven's Claw were ready to join the Lord Voldemort. This was not good news.

Obviously, the magic academy this wizard was talking about must be the Hogwarts. What were they planning to do?!

After knowing that the Lord Voldemort had returned, many dark forces hidden around the world were ready to take action.

"Don't get carried away, Kajar. We are different from those dark wizards. We have a higher goal." The wizard called the Messenger of Disaster paused for a moment, and his aura became colder. "Alright, give me the recently mined crystals. I've extracted another energy stone from the cyclops. I'll bring them to the city. The energy I need is almost enough. I'm ready to summon the ancient existence before I go to see the Dark Lord …"
