Elwyn climbed up the dark stairs to the second floor. The old wooden floor creaked under his feet. Owls circled above his head from time to time.

The second floor of the post office was similar to the first floor. There were owls everywhere, and the shelves under them were marked with different colored codes.

Mount Crook was lying on a semi-circular balcony. When it saw Elwyn, it purred loudly, expressing its satisfaction.

Wait, where is Sirius Black?!

Elwyn suddenly realized something. He quickly turned around. In the shadow of the staircase behind him, a black figure jumped out.

In the next second, Elwyn was pushed to the ground, and a cloud of dust flew up.

A few gray owls spread their wings and flew higher, looking at Elwyn and the huge black dog covered in coarse hair with dissatisfaction.

Sirius Black leaped lightly and snatched the wand from Elwyn's hand.

His body changed rapidly in the air. When Blake landed on the floor again, Elwyn saw a middle-aged man who looked exactly like the one on the Ministry of Magic's wanted poster: a mess of dirty, tangled hair that fell to his elbows, eyes hidden in deep, dark sockets, and waxy skin that clung to the skeleton of his face. He looked exactly like Skull.

"You're too careless, boy!" Blake held Elwyn's wand tightly and grinned, showing his yellow teeth. "Don't resist. Since you're Harry's friend, I'll only use the Amnesia Curse on you and erase all the memories of me from your head."

Blake's voice was low and hoarse, as if he had not spoken for a long time.

"Listen, I need to talk to you, Sirius!" Elwyn said in a low voice. "I don't intend to resist. You can take my wand if it makes you feel safer."

"Hmph, safety doesn't mean anything to me!" A mocking sneer appeared on Blake's face. "If you were like me, imprisoned in Azkaban for twelve years because of a groundless crime, tortured by hundreds and thousands of Soul Eaters day and night, with your mind filled with the darkest memories, and constantly enduring the torment of killing your best friend, you would also completely forget the feeling of fear and terror."

"That does sound terrible," Elwyn said worriedly.

"Do you know how I survived?!" Blake's expression suddenly became ferocious. "It's revenge. It's the power of revenge that kept me awake. That's why I didn't become a walking corpse like the others."

"Maybe I can help you to complete your revenge." Elwyn sat up from the ground.

"Help me?!" The smile on Blake's face grew wider. He pointed the wand in his hand steadily at Elwyn. "I don't think so. You better stay still and don't play tricks on me. Ever since we first met in the Muggle World in August, I have been observing you for the past few months. I know your actual magic level. It's really surprising. When I was your age, I didn't have your strength."

"Thank you for the compliment. If I'm really as powerful as you say, the current situation wouldn't be like this!" Elwyn paused and continued. "But I really want to help you. Do you remember the second time we met at the edge of the Forbidden Forest on Halloween? It was me who covered your escape. Otherwise, you would have been discovered by Professor Lupin!"

Elwyn secretly gathered his magic. Ever since he saw Tom Liddell use Ron's broken wand to cast spells last semester, he had been studying magic without a wand.

Although he found a lot of theoretical books in the library, it was extremely difficult to practice in reality. Elwyn had practiced for nearly a year, but he could only control his magic to emit a little light. It was far less than the effect caused by a little wizard's magic riot and loss of control, let alone casting a complete magic spell.

This little light was of no help in actual combat, but it might be able to surprise and distract Blake.

Elwyn had to be careful. If the communication failed, this would be his last resort. He did not want to be turned into an idiot by Blake's Forgetting Curse.

"If it weren't for you, I wouldn't have been discovered." Blake snorted coldly, and his wand emitted a faint light. "Also, I don't need anyone's help!"

He waved his wand, but Elwyn was faster than him.

Magic surged out of his body, and a dazzling white light flashed like a dazzling lightning. Blake subconsciously closed his eyes.

Hundreds of owls soared into the sky, and the whole second floor was in chaos.

Taking advantage of this opportunity, Elwyn suddenly climbed up from the ground and slammed into Sirius Black. Although he was short and thin, and far from being a match for the tall Blake, the sudden bright light caught Blake off guard.

He did not raise his wand in time, and Elwyn grabbed Blake's wand with one hand, forcing the end of the wand to change direction. The knuckle of his other hand hit the side of Blake's head, and both of them fell back and hit the wall.

The heavy impact finally woke Blake up. The wand in his hand emitted a red light into the air, and it was only a few inches away from Elwyn's face.

Elwyn could feel the wrinkled arm under his fingers writhing madly, but he did not let go. He used his other hand to hit every part of Blake's body that he could reach.

Blake was stronger than him, and his free hand found Elwyn's throat.

Just when Elwyn was feeling hopeless, Mount Crook, who had been lying on the balcony, suddenly jumped over and joined the fight. Its two front claws sank deep into Blake's arms.

Blake groaned in pain and let go of Elwyn. He wanted to shake off Mount Crook, but he did not succeed. Taking advantage of this opportunity, Elwyn punched Blake's stomach a few times. Blake curled up in pain and let go of his wand.

Elwyn grabbed his wand and quickly stood up. He held the wand and pointed it at Blake's chest, looking down at him.

Blake collapsed against the wall, his thin chest rising and falling rapidly.

"Good job, Mount Crook!" Elwyn panted.

Mount Crook let out a soft cry and jumped back onto the windowsill, as if it had completed a trivial task. The owl in the air also landed.

Elwyn looked at Blake. His old handsomeness could still be seen on his skinny, sallow face. Twelve years in prison had made him cold-blooded. Before he killed Peter, he would not trust anyone, and he would not need any help.

As a lone avenger, he wanted to capture Peter with his own strength.

When it came to trusting others, he was even worse than a cat.

"I underestimated you. You're much better than I thought. Casting without a wand, I haven't seen a wizard learn this skill for a long time." Blake's lips curled into a mocking sneer again. "What are you going to do with me? Hand me over to the Auror of the Ministry of Magic or those Dementors?!"

"I repeat, I just want to help you, whether you believe me or not!" Elwyn wiped the blood from the corner of his mouth, and a few sparks appeared at the tip of his wand. "If you like this way of communication, let's do it this way."

"Speaking of which, I really have to thank you!" Blake said calmly. "Thanks to your Hogwarts Magic News, Foggy gave me a copy of the newspaper when he visited Azkaban. There were pictures of him giving you guys the special contribution awards. On the front page of the newspaper, on the boy's shoulder, I recognized him immediately. I saw how many times he transformed. He was still alive, and he was still in Hogwarts, beside Jaime and Lily's son. That night, I escaped from Azkaban because I knew I had to kill him. This was the only way I could make up for my mistake, even in the face of death. "
