Chapter 1062

Report

After a long time, the Eight-Eyed Spider's territory had changed drastically. The traces left behind by the spiders had gradually disappeared.

Life had reappeared on the land. The corroded grey trees had regained their vitality. Green sprouts had sprouted. There were still spider webs hanging from the trees, but they were covered in dust. The corpses hanging from the branches had all disappeared.

Where Aragok's lair was, the sinful crater was now covered in green grass.

After the Eight-Eyed Spider left, the place had recovered quite well.

At least, it was like this until Hagrid returned last year. But now, a giant had arrived.

In terms of destructive power, the giant was not much weaker than the Eight-Eyed Spider. The only advantage was that the giant would not corrode the land.

From afar, Elwyn and the rest could see Glop who was as big as a hill.

He was lying at the bottom of the crater, outside Aragok's lair. Glop saw the three of them almost at the same time.

Perhaps it was because he had not seen Elwyn for a long time and was too excited, Glop's way of greeting was to uproot a newly grown tooth and shake it above his head. Dirt and pebbles fell all over him.

Suddenly seeing this scene, Umbridge's head jerked backwards, his eyes widened, and he fainted.

She must have been frightened. How dare she come looking for a giant weapon when she did not even have the ability to withstand this?

Imagine this. Glop roared as he half-knelt in front of Aragok's lair.

He was waving a tree in his hand. Dirt and pebbles kept falling.

The giant hand holding the tree had dirty knuckles, each as big as a cricket ball.

His astonishingly large face was close at hand, like a greyish-white full moon in a gloomy clearing.

His facial features looked like they had been chiseled out of a large stone ball. His stubby nose was almost shapeless. His mouth was slanted and filled with strange-looking yellow teeth the size of half a brick. His eyes were a murky brownish-green.

"Oh, my god!" Elwyn heard Hermione scream in fear beside him.

"It's really big!" Elaine's face was full of excitement. Her focus was completely different from Hermione's.

She was not afraid at all. She just thought it was fun. She was not frightened by Glop's scary appearance.

Despite her young age, Elaine had actually been through hundreds of battles. As a vampire, she had seen many things that were terrifying in the eyes of ordinary people.

"Gloop isn't that big. He's considered small among the giants!" Elwyn said. "He's too short. He's only sixteen feet tall. Because of that, he's been bullied by the other giants. Hagrid had to bring him back."

"At only sixteen feet, that's a dime a dozen!" said Hermione. "Hagrid's made a crazy decision."

"Are there any giants bigger than him?" Elaine asked.

"Yes, there are many. If there's a chance, I'll bring you to the giant tribe in Sicily." Elwyn said, "Come on, let's go."

They walked towards Gloop. The giant grew bigger and bigger. As they got closer, they realized that he was tied to a rock behind him with ropes as thick as saplings. This was Hagrid's protective measure to prevent Gloop from running around in the forest.

But it was useless because Glop was running towards them, dragging the rock behind him.

Hearing the crashing sound behind him, he turned back to look at the rock with confusion and quickly stopped.

Hagrid must have ordered that these rocks were not to be moved.

"Gloop, are you alright?" Elwyn called out and waved back.

"Elwyn!" Gloop obviously still remembered him. He was happy but also a little scared.

What Elwyn did in the giant's territory had been deeply imprinted in the minds of all the giants. It had become a nightmare for them.

In their simple minds, the only ones who could cause a volcano to erupt and destroy a mountain were probably gods.

Especially the presence of the cyclops in the air, it could make the giants obey instinctively.

Elwyn still had a lot of energy that he extracted from the cyclops. Even though he did not know how to use it, Gloop could feel it.

Therefore, Gloop was very polite to Elwyn, but he was definitely not like this to others, including Hagrid.

"See, he's actually quite a good boy. He's not as scary as the rumors say. Let me introduce you." Elwyn said to Hermione and Elaine. He raised his head to look at Gloop. "I've brought you a new friend!"

Gloop's face was filled with confusion. His right hand that was holding the tree drooped down. Obviously, he did not understand what his friend meant.

"Companions, you idiot!" Elwyn said as he held Hermione's hand and made her take a step forward. "This is Hermione and the one next to her is Elaine. They both know your name. Alright, now we're friends!"

Gloop stared at them for a while and quickly reached out a hand to Hermione. Hermione dodged backward.

"I think it's fine. This is just a way for him to show his friendliness." Elwyn said.

He held Hermione with one hand and Elaine with the other. They jumped onto Gloop's palm.

They started to rise slowly. The higher they went, the clearer Gloop's face became.

He placed his hand before his chest. From here, he could even feel Gloop's breath, it was like the wind.

The view from the giant's palm was completely different from usual. They were now parallel to the tall trees and could see the view above them.

In the distance, the setting sun slowly disappeared from the horizon. Hundreds of birds landed to rest.

It was a beautiful sight, if they did not take the platform they were on into account.

"What are you thinking about?" Elwyn noticed that Elaine was not looking at the setting sun but was staring blankly at Gloop.

"I'm wondering what giant's blood tastes like." She said, "Will I grow bigger after I drink it?"

"Of course not!"

The sky darkened quickly. When they were put down, it was already dark without any light.

The wands in their hands glowed and chased away the darkness.

"Alright, Gloop, we're leaving!" Elwyn said as he waved his wand. Umrich flew over. "Right, this is for you. You can keep her in the cave!"

Gloop looked at Umrich and picked her up.

The night breeze blew and Umrich woke up. When she saw the giant so close to her, she fainted again.

As if dissatisfied with this, Gloop roared at Umrich and woke her up again.

"No, she's not food. Help me look after her for a while. Don't let her die but don't let her run away. Don't let anyone find her. Can you do that?" Elwyn asked. He was not sure if Gloop could understand what he was saying.

Even though Hagrid had been teaching Gloop English, no one knew how the progress was.

But theoretically speaking, the giant could understand what they were saying.

Gloop looked at Elwyn and then at Umrich in his hand. He nodded slowly.

"Great, she's yours now!" Elwyn said happily. He did not expect communication to be so easy.

"Are we just going to give Umrich to him?" Hermione asked as she looked at Umrich who was dangling in Gloop's hand.

Elaine asked at the same time, "Are we just going to give her to the giant?"
