Heavy snow fell on the castle and the field. Boothbottom's light blue carriage looked like a big pumpkin covered in frost in winter, and the little gingerbread house next to it was Hagrid's hut. Demstrand's ship's side was covered in a layer of ice, making it smooth and translucent, and the sail was also covered in a layer of frost.
Even for breakfast, the busy house elves had prepared a variety of hot stews and sweet pudding for the teachers and students.
"The food in Hogwarts is too greasy," Hibiscus Chinensis said with a frown. "I can't even wear my dress robe anymore!"
"As long as you can wear it tonight," Allen said as he called out to Harry, who was walking behind them.
A moment later, the three of them appeared on the slope by the lake. The lush grass was covered with a thick layer of snow, and the three of them left a trail of footprints in the white and flawless snow.
"The view here is broad, and there are no buildings or trees to block the view. Allen chose a good place to talk," Harry thought to himself.
"The lake in front of you is the venue for our second competition," Allen said.
Hibiscus Chinensis rubbed her palms and nodded casually. She suddenly turned around to look at Allen.
Harry asked with a look of disbelief, "It's winter. Are we going to have a winter swimming competition?"
"More or less." Allen said, "The committee will take away our most beloved and hand them over to the mermaids at the bottom of the lake. Our mission is to find and rescue them within an hour."
"What if we can't find them?" Hibiscus Chinensis asked with a pale face as she thought of a terrible possibility.
"After an hour, there will be no hope. They will completely disappear and never appear again." Allen imitated the lyrics of the Golden Egg Mermaid, deliberately scaring the two of them.
Harry's face was pale. He didn't know who his beloved was, but it was precisely because of this that he felt even more terrified.
Hibiscus Chinensis looked at Harry as if he had seen a ghost and couldn't help but laugh. "What a fool. Allen lied to you."
Harry looked at Allen and then at Hibiscus Chinensis, scratched his head, and laughed as well.
"Then, what we need to prepare next is how to stay underwater for an hour." Hibiscus's jade-white finger touched her red lips as her delicate brows furrowed.
"Allen has no problem." Harry blinked and said enviously, "He can teleport to the destination, rescue them quickly, and then teleport back.
Hibiscus nodded in agreement. "That's right. The first place in this competition must be Allen."
"I don't plan to use Animagus in this match." Allen shook his head and smiled as the two looked at him in surprise.
"You have a good idea?" Hibiscus Chinensis blurted out.
"Of course. After consuming the Gill Sac Grass, you will grow gills and webbed fingers and toes. That way, you will be able to swim and breathe underwater. An hour won't be a problem." Allen's words made Harry and Selina's eyes light up.
"There's also the Head Bubble Spell. It will allow you to breathe underwater." Allen gave a second solution.
"Which of these two solutions will you use?" Hibiscus Chinensis asked curiously.
"Neither. You two can choose to use them." Allen didn't reveal his own solution and provided the two solutions to Hibiscus Chinensis and Harry.
Hibiscus Chinensis tactfully didn't ask any more questions.
After returning to the castle, Allen was about to change into his formal attire and go to the auditorium when Benny flew in from the window. He flapped his wings and shook off a thin layer of snow on his body.
Allen untied a box from his leg.
"Eh?" The wrapping paper on the box looked familiar. Wasn't it the paper on the gift box he gave to Professor Snape?
Ellen quickly opened it and saw that a tattered Ribaxu was lying on the ground. Advanced Magic Potion Making by Boraci appeared in front of him.
Thinking of a possibility, Allen quickly pulled out his wand. "True form revealed!" He simply knocked on the cover and read.
He turned the book over. At the bottom of the back cover, there was a small, very compact line of words: This book belongs to the Half-Blood Prince.
It was a pleasant surprise to get this book. While there was still time, Allen read it with great interest.
This book was Professor Snape's notes. Not only were there tips on potion making, but there were also some of his original spells recorded.
It wasn't until the sky was completely dark that he tidied up his robes and walked out of the dormitory to meet up with Hermione.
The whole of Hogwarts was especially splendid tonight. The little wizards were no longer all in black robes. Instead, they were all wearing colorful robes. They walked around the corridors, laughing and giggling.
The hall was also crowded with students, all of them walking back and forth, waiting for eight o'clock, when the doors of the auditorium would open. Some of them had to meet their dance partners from other academies, so they squeezed sideways in the crowd, looking for each other's figures.
After knowing the content of the second round and the solution, Harry changed into his formal attire. He glanced at Ron, who was struggling with the lace on his dress, and silently left. He felt that if Ron knew who his dance partner was tonight, the wand might not cut his dress.
"Hi, Harry." Jenny stood at the bottom of the stairs and greeted Harry.
Harry had to admit that the girl seemed to have grown up overnight. Her tight black dress showed off her exquisite figure. Every curve of her long red curly hair was a testament to her charm.
"You … Uh … You're very beautiful," Harry said awkwardly.
Jenny's face was burning. She wanted to grab Harry's arm, but she tripped on the stairs and almost fell. Harry immediately grabbed her waist, and she pressed her hand on Harry's chest to steady herself.
Friendly laughter rang out in the surroundings.
But their attention was soon diverted. Because of Hibiscus Chinensis? Dracul was coming over. She was wearing a silver-gray satin robe, and she was astonishingly beautiful. Beside her was a young man who was full of vigor.
"That guy looks familiar," Ginny said.
"Albert? Harris. This is Allen's older brother, Aura of the Ministry of Magic, "Harry introduced briefly.
Seeing that Jenny's attention was on the others, for some reason, he felt a little suffocated.
A group of Slytherin students came up the stairs from their underground common room. At the front was Malfoy. He was wearing a black velvet robe with a high collar. Harry felt that he looked like a parish priest. Pency? Parkinson was wearing a light pink robe that was full of wrinkles. She clung tightly to Malfoy's arm. Crabbe and Gore were both dressed in green, like two big rocks covered in moss. Harry was satisfied to see that neither of them had found a partner.
The oak door opened, and everybody turned around to see Demstrand's students and Professor Kakarov walking in together. Krum was at the front, and next to him was a girl in a golden dress with a red face.
