The scarlet eyeballs on the giant sword seemed to have sensed his murderous aura. They flew out of the giant sword and turned into images of ferocious ghosts. Those ghosts had green faces and sharp fangs. They had wings on their backs. Their empty eyes were filled with ruthlessness and bloodthirstiness. They were like balls of ghostly fire that burned fiercely.
Blood-colored ghostly shadows fluttered across the surface of the lake like fluttering butterflies, as if they were intersecting bloody torrents.
Dozens of warriors of the Medicine and Vessel Pavilion stormed towards Shi Yan. All of a sudden, their soul altars were shaken. They felt a sharp pain in their heads as the evil energy had invaded their Sea of Consciousness.
The blood flood was like an extension of the giant sword. They weaved and weaved into a massive blood net. It was a different kind of barrier.

No matter how hard they had imagined, they couldn't imagine that Shi Yan could have such power to confuse Zaduo's mind. He discolored in fright. However, they didn't have time to stop him.

Xia XinYan was also frightened. She suddenly made a hand seal with both of her hands. A mysterious energy fluctuation seemed to affect the flow of time. The blood light stabbing towards Zha Duo slowed down strangely. Everybody around was affected as they felt that their time was limited.
Shi Yan wasn't an exception. He felt that time had slowed down, and all the surging energy was reduced.
Only Xia Xin Yan wasn't affected. Her graceful body moved, grabbing Zaduo. She hurried to change the direction, bringing Zaduo away from the dangerous area.

The slow blood light turned into a lightning strike, but Zaduo had disappeared. The blood light fell on the lake, splitting the lake. The rapid water flow was cut off by a sword. The power of this sword was earth-shaking.
"What's going on?" Xia Xin Yan screamed. Her voice seemed to have some magical power that made Shi Yan, who was almost crazy, sober up as if he had been poured with ice water.

Fu Wei's blue eyes were filled with doubt. She was bewildered, not knowing what to do.
"Kill him!" Bettina ordered, her voice cold and harsh.
Many warriors of the Medicine and Vessel Pavilion gathered, ready to slaughter Shi Yan. They were all enraged.
At this moment, Xia Xin Yan suddenly shouted ear-piercingly, her voice clear and melodious.
Above the clouds of the life star number 9, the massive battleships flew over like a thick black cloud, gathering by Xia Xin Yan. Her face was cold and harsh, not showing any mercy. "Whoever dares to touch him will be my archenemy!"
Bettina and Fu Wei were shaken. The warriors of the Medicine and Vessel Pavilion didn't know what had happened. Even the warriors of the Windstorm War Department were bewildered. They didn't know what to do.
Zaduo, whose mind had just been seized, woke up. He was so angry that he couldn't help but shout, "Kill that kid!"
Xia Xin Yan's cold eyes gazed at Zaduo. She said all of a sudden, "If you dare to move, I will kill you!"
Everybody was baffled.
"You... Why are you protecting him?" Bettina was shaken. She suddenly got it. "You... You guys? You guys have known each other? "

As the last space node was destroyed, Shi Yan knew his plan couldn't be carried out. His eyes resumed their normal color as he retrieved the blood sword, sighing. "Zaduo, you should check the changes of the space nodes around."
Zaduo wore a cold visage. He frowned and released his Soul Consciousness. Right after that, he felt chilled as if he had fallen into an icy chamber. He couldn't help but shiver.
"What happened?" Bettina was surprised.
"All the space nodes around the life star number 9 are destroyed! We've lost the connection with the outside world! I can't take you guys out of here. "Zaduo's voice was trembling." Someone wants to kill us all! "
Hearing him, everybody fell into a panic. They lifted their heads to look at the sky as if they could feel an invisible pressure like a mountain or a sea approaching them.
"He destroyed the space passage I built. We... can't leave." Shi Yan shook his head, his face dispirited as he talked to Xia Xin Yan begrudgingly.
Everybody finally understood why Shi Yan was behaving strangely.
"Open all the defensive barriers! Prepare to fight to the death! " Bettina pondered for a few seconds and then pitched her voice to shout. A walking stick appeared in her hand. She poked the void with it, sending hundreds of deep blue, dark green, and orange-red lightning beams to every corner of the star.
The surface of the misty gray planet had three light curtains of deep blue, dark green, and orange-red. They looked like three different ocean halos, protecting the entire planet.
