Looking at the weird-looking but equally aggressive and highly vigilant crowd who were all staring at him, Li Yao suddenly had the feeling that he was in a preposterous play.

His eyes glanced at Suo Chaolong, who looked like a muscular human being, and stopped on Han Tuhu, the commander of the Union Army who looked like a yaksha. Pausing for a moment, he continued. "Everything that happened to you!"
Han Tuhu nodded. "Please go ahead, Major Li."
Suo Chaolong made a 'please' gesture, too. Whatever grudge the two parties had against each other, the guy had saved his life and so many brothers after all.
Even if this matter was not taken into account, Li Yao's terrifying strength alone was enough to win his respect.
Li Yao scratched his messy hair and calmed himself down. "The whole thing is too complicated. I have to start from the beginning. Ten years ago, I found a crystal warship from the Star Ocean Imperium on Boneyard and jumped to the depths of the sea of stars together with Skeleton Dragon. There, I discovered a new Sector governed by human beings …"
"What!"
Hearing that, Han Tuhu could not help but jump to his feet in ecstasy. "A new world of human beings?"
All the soldiers of the Union Army were exhilarated!
Everybody knew that a new world of human beings had been discovered in the war between the Tian Yuan Realm and the Blood Demon Sector. What did it mean?
The silver-blood captives under the command of Suo Chaolong and the low-level demons of the Blade of Chaos under the command of Fire Ant, on the other hand, greatly changed their expressions. They felt as if they had been struck by lightning.
No matter what internal conflicts they had, they would always be called "demons". The arrival of a new world of human beings was definitely not good news for the Blood Demon Sector!
Suo Chaolong opened his mouth and wanted to question, but when the words reached his mouth, his chest deflated again.
It had long been proven that Li Yao and Skeleton Dragon had jumped to the depths of the sea of stars together. But now, he was making a grand return. For his strength to soar to such an extent, he must have had a fortuitous encounter!

Possession with the apocalypses? The Dark Forest? The Immortal Cultivators who regarded ordinary people as ants? And the Imperium of True Human Beings, which had controlled the central area of the three thousand Sectors and was far stronger than them?
Compared to those unimaginably enormous concepts, the war between the Blood Demon Sector and the Tian Yuan Realm at the edge of the cosmos was as hilarious as a fight between children in a kindergarten!

Li Yao licked his dry lips and concluded. "While we are talking, the expedition army of the Imperium of True Human Beings is marching toward us aggressively through short-distance continuous jumps. By the most optimistic estimation, they will reach the Tian Yuan Realm in one to two hundred years.
"By then, the Tian Yuan Realm and the Blood Demon Sector will have been completely melded. It means that neither you nor us will be able to escape from the barrage of the expedition army of the Imperium.
"Before that, perhaps in a few years, a weird 'minor apocalypse' will arrive. To this moment, we still don't know the nature of the attack. Maybe it will be the attack of some intelligent pure energy entity, similar to the 'star child' that appeared in the Flying Star Sector. Maybe it will be even weirder and more unpredictable.

The Union Army, the Blade of Chaos, and the silver-blood demons were silent for a long time.

Suo Chaolong's eyes, however, started to spin in a very strange manner.
Li Yao sensed what was on his mind keenly. He said calmly, "I know what a lot of demons are thinking. You must be thinking that, since the Imperium of True Human Beings is so powerful, and their primary target is the Cultivators, is it possible to destroy the Xing Yao Federation through the Imperium of True Human Beings?
"Of course it's possible," Li Yao said.
"However, however terrifying the Imperium of True Human Beings is, it is still a country of human beings after all. It is not hard to imagine their attitude toward the demon race. If the Immortal Cultivators regard human beings as ants, what can they regard demons as?
"I estimate that, after the Imperium of True Human Beings conquers the Tian Yuan Realm and the Blood Demon Sector, if you are lucky enough not to be killed in the battle, the best outcome will be that you will be sent to the sunless mines and die of mining!

"Now, I'm going to tell you the second thing, something that may shock you even more.
"I don't know how to define it. I only want to tell you exactly what it means. Think about it yourself."
Everybody was dazed.
What could possibly be more shocking than the existence of the Imperium of True Human Beings and the cruel 'Dark Forest Theory'?
Li Yao glanced at the Fire Ant and took out 'Chaos' Ba Yanzhi's Hidden Star Box from his pocket.
Yesterday, he had made a simple adapter with several components in his spare time and connected the Hidden Star Box to his own mini crystal processor.
In such a way, he would be able to project some of Ba Yanzhi's key memories in the Hidden Star Box to everybody through 3D projection.
"All of you, both the silver-blood demons and the Union Army, have been tortured inhumanely in Elder Nether Spring's laboratory and turned into … completely different appearances.
"I don't know if you've ever wondered why a commander of the silver-blood demons such as Suo Chaolong turned into the appearance of a human being, and why a commander of the Union Army such as Han Tuhu looked like … an out-and-out demon."
Suo Chaolong and Han Tuhu both shivered. They looked at each other and breathed heavily.
They had been pondering the question painfully in the past half year and were unwilling to face it.
"Shua!"
An enormous light beam was activated to the ceiling of the warehouse. As the light beam slowly fell, everybody seemed to have been teleported to the temple of the Ultimate One Sect, a Cultivation sect forty thousand years ago.
Ba Yanzhi's magnificent body appeared in front of everybody!
"He is Chaos!"
Li Yao said, one word after another.
He intercepted some of the critical memory pieces and sped up his narration. He presented the discovery of the mysterious black spring, the reason for the birth of the demon race, the whole picture of the swallowing of the universe, and the split between the Ultimate One Demons and the Chaos Demons. …
The expressions on everyone's faces were complicated. The mottled light and shadow divided their faces into colorful areas, hiding their true feelings in the camouflage.
"This is the origin of the demon race."
Li Yao said, "The demon race originated from human beings. Their original purpose was to better survive in the barren world of the Age of Doom. Or rather, the demon race was a different form of human beings in the Age of Doom. However, the trend of the whole thing was completely out of control."
Silence. Silence. Everybody was silent.
"You — you've got to be kidding me!"
Out of Li Yao's expectation, the first to jump to his feet was none other than Han Tuhu, the commander of the Union Army.
