Report

Ten minutes later, the five spectral Cultivators from the Tian Yuan Realm finished analyzing the information sent by Li Yao.

Sparkle was caught in a brief silence.

Mo Xuan said, "According to Li Yao's message and the information we've collected on the Spiritual Nexus, we are faced with two choices right now.

"Firstly, it was none of their business. They had been hiding at the edge of the cosmos while the Cultivators and the Immortal Cultivators of the Flying Star Sector fought each other. They even watched the Flying Star Sector being occupied by the Immortal Cultivators.

"Secondly, we can take part in the war and fight against the Immortal Cultivators together with the Cultivators of the Flying Star Sector in a certain way!"

The bodies of the 'Four Kings' shivered slightly. The liquid metal shrank and expanded now and then. They began to talk.

"It seems that the Temple of Immortals is very powerful and has been lurking in the shadows for a thousand years. Now that they have launched an all-out attack, they must have other plans. Things will not be as simple as they seem!

"We only have one tiny Sparkle. The odds of winning against such an enormous force are not high. We may even be destroyed if we are not careful!

"The Tian Yuan Realm is waiting for us. We cannot die here.

"But Li Yao has become the Temple of Immortals' enemy. If the Immortal Cultivators do occupy the Flying Star Sector, they will certainly dig us out!"

"Then, run. Run to another world!"

"Where can we run to? To be able to jump … delta long … delta wind … delta text … to a world rich in resources is already a stroke of good fortune. Who knows if the next jump will be able to find a similar world? "

"Even if we do find a new world, who can guarantee that it will be peaceful and quiet? Chances are that it will be even more chaotic than the Flying Star Sector! "

"Fight! We should stay and fight! The so-called Immortal Cultivators are in fact the Demonic Cultivators. They are our mortal enemies! Don't forget the demons who are savaging the Tian Yuan Realm and the Demonic Cultivators years ago. They are on the same side! "

Mo Xuan had been quietly listening to everyone speak freely. In the end, he said, "What everyone said is very reasonable. Let me summarize."

"Firstly, the Flying Star Sector is a world with abundant resources and spiritual energy. Also, the debris of all kinds of starships is the best place for us to strengthen ourselves! If you perform another super long-distance space jump, the chances of finding the same world are less than one in ten thousand. It is even possible that you will be lost in the four-dimensional space and completely shattered into pieces.

"Therefore, until we find a way home, we can only stay in the Flying Star Sector.

"Second. If we want to strengthen ourselves, we cannot just count on the remnants of the ancient battlefields. As Sparkle becomes more and more advanced, we will have to apply more advanced techniques and magical equipment to it.

"But such things cannot be found in the remnants of the ancient battlefields at the edge of the cosmos. They can only be found at the center of the Flying Star Sector.

"There. It is a place that Cultivators and Immortal Cultivators must compete for. "

"That is to say, as long as we continue to strengthen ourselves, we will be able to achieve the same result. One day, we will need to get in touch with a certain force in the Flying Star Sector. We will communicate with them, learn their techniques, receive their help, and even ally with them.

"The only problem is. Which force are we going to contact? The Cultivators or the Immortal Cultivators? "

"I don't think the answer to this question needs to be said, right?"

"Therefore. Like I said just now, we have two choices. In fact, there is only one. Once the Flying Star Sector turns into a great swirl of war, we will definitely be involved. The only choice we have is how we will be involved. Will we go with the flow or will we slash through the wind? "

"It's true that the Tian Yuan Realm is waiting for us to return. But how do you want us to return? Are you going back alone with Sparkle, or are you going to land with hundreds of starships from the sky with countless allies?

"I believe that if the Cultivators of the Heaven's Origin Sector and the Cultivators of the Flying Star Sector fight side by side against the Immortal Cultivators today …

"Then, tomorrow, the Cultivators of the Flying Star Sector will stand together with the Cultivators of the Heaven's Origin Sector and flatten the Blood Demon Sector together!"

The 'Four Kings' were silent for a moment. Then, they all raised a small metal bean sprout from the metal ball and shook it slightly.

It was a gesture of 'consent' among them.

"Alright. It's decided then. We will sail to the Iron Plateau Space Zone slowly and search for more remnants of ancient battlefields on our way. We will modify Sparkle so that it will boast a higher combat ability within the atmosphere.

"In the meantime, we will disguise ourselves as a merchant starship and continue hunting the space pirates to accumulate more battle experience!

"According to the analysis of all kinds of intelligence, Li Yao has probably been forced to land on Iron Plateau. If he is in a critical situation, we will have to break into Iron Plateau to rescue him, too!

"I only hope that he is still alive before then!"

"I'm going to die!"

Li Yao shrieked. He lay on his back on all fours in a hurry and stomped on the ground. Then, he floated backward weirdly like a leaf being blown away by a strong wind!

The moment he 'floated' away, a cluster of black, stinky wind hit the place where he had been standing a moment ago brutally. Iron sand was mixed in the stinky wind, too. Hundreds of holes were left on the ground, from which smoke was popping up.

"Hoooo!"

It was an enormous worm that seemed to be billions of times larger than an earthworm. It was more than ten meters long and one meter in diameter. At the front end of its body was a bloody mouth with extremely sharp, circular teeth that were rotating quickly inside the mouthpart and uttering creepy roars.

Li Yao slashed his saber backward. The aura of the saber darted out furiously. However, the skin of the weird worm was emitting a metallic luster, as if its entire body was made of alloys. The aura of the saber only left a shallow mark on its body.

However, the slash infuriated the weird worm even more. The front end of its body split apart like a flower. Its mouthpart was more than three meters in diameter. A cluster of black, high-pressure gas that was even more ferocious was condensing inside its body at a high speed!

When the black gas was condensed to the maximum, Li Yao snapped his fingers softly.

Four Floating Six-barreled Vulcan Machine Guns appeared weirdly deep inside the throat of the giant worm and opened fire!

In the blink of an eye!

More than ten lines of fire bombarded crazily and detonated the high-pressure gas inside the body of the giant worm.

The giant worm was as hard as iron on the outside, but its insides were extremely soft and contained a lot of water. Therefore, it was blown into smithereens on the spot. Its body was blown into two halves, but it was not dead yet. Driven by its natural instincts, it jumped crazily and stirred up the debris around it.

Li Yao covered his head and fled like a rat.

Half an hour later, when the giant worm was completely rigid, he finally returned carefully and began to dissect the giant worm to collect materials.

"The crystal bullets are running out."

Li Yao sighed and looked around helplessly. He finally understood why the residents of the Flying Star Sector preferred to live in cramped, cold starships instead of returning to the planets.

Iron Plateau was truly not a place for human beings to live!

As far as his eyes could reach, there was nothing but a rust-colored desert all the way to the horizon. Some bizarre-shaped plants were withered and half-dead, too.

The environment here was somewhat similar to the Grand Desolate Plateau in the Tian Yuan Realm.

However, the Grand Desolate Plateau was a boundless plateau after all, which could be modified artificially.

On the surface of Iron Plateau, however, mountains that were shining in metallic colors were standing one after another. Every mountain was at least hundreds of meters tall, if not thousands of meters tall!

These mountains completely disregarded the laws of geological structure. There were no mountain ranges or ridges to speak of. They were just blocks that stood out from the ground. They were colorful, bumpy, and rugged. They were quite similar to the meteorites that could be seen everywhere in the universe.

In some places, there were no mountains. Instead, there were craters with diameters of over a hundred meters, or even a thousand meters. Many of the craters were shrouded in black fog all year round. From afar, they looked like dark abysses.

The huge difference between the mountains and the abysses made the climate on the surface of Iron Plateau chaotic without any pattern. It was common that lightning and thunder were rumbling one moment, but it would be scorching and dry the next.

Such a terrain could not have been formed naturally.

Li Yao speculated that Iron Plateau had been hit by a meteor shower on a large scale thousands of years ago.

Some of the larger meteoroids had crashed on the surface of Iron Plateau and turned into the weird mountains of meteoroids.

Some of the smaller meteoroids had been vaporized in the violent collisions and turned into blasts that swept across everything, leaving behind the bottomless craters.

Those meteoroids looked very weird. They did not seem to have been formed naturally. Li Yao had seen interconnecting spiritual stripes that constituted rune arrays on quite a few meteoroid mountains.

Li Yao had never seen such patterns before, but he was certain that they were some sort of model to absorb and make use of spiritual energy.

Those meteoroids were made by a certain intelligent life and produced artificially. They were some sort of 'magical equipment'!

The meteoroids seemed to contain some sort of weird power that had caused the environment of Iron Plateau to undergo the most thorough changes. Not only was the land desolate, the demon beasts there had mutated greatly, too.

The Giant Sand Worm that had attacked Li Yao just now was very common on other planets. It was just a low-level demon beast that did not have a high attack ability. Most of the time, it was used as a means of transportation by high-level demon beasts.

However, on Iron Plateau, it had undergone terrifying mutations. Not only was its skin thick and invulnerable, it could also swallow a lot of metals and disintegrate them into grains of iron sand inside its body. When it was in a battle, it would be spurted out by high-pressure air currents, raising a storm of bullets!

The Giant Sand Worm, on the other hand, was only one of the most 'docile' demon beasts that Li Yao had seen during the one month since he was forced to land on Iron Plateau.

What kind of world is this? It is even more brutal than the Dark Desolate Domain in the depths of the Grand Desolate Plateau!
