"Hu —"
The space ripples swept over everybody's head like surging tides and level-nine tornadoes.
Everyone felt as if there were countless pairs of invisible hands grabbing them from all directions and pulling them in different directions.
For a moment, their bodies were translucent and unpredictable. They even began to melt like heated candles.
Before they had the chance to exclaim, they were blown into the air by the space ripples and fell into the ubiquitous space folds.
It was a feeling that Theresa was very familiar with.
She had tasted the same feeling countless times when she was performing space jumps.
It was like when the rope on her body was accidentally broken when she was bungee jumping, and she fell into a bottomless abyss.
"As I expected, is this some kind of teleportation array?"
Theresa clicked her tongue in her heart. "It is truly incredible that a super-large teleportation array of hundreds of square kilometers can exist stably on the surface of a planet.
"In the Pangu universe, we have such a large teleportation array, too, but we can only build it on the orbit outside of the planet's atmosphere because we cannot solve the problem of space ripples that disrupt the stability of space.
"The fleets of the Primeval Civilization that fled to the Emerald Continent thousands of years ago are truly technologically advanced!"
She closed her eyes and focused her mind. Curling her limbs into a ball, she waited patiently for the teleportation to be over, trying to minimize the impact of the space ripples on her internal organs and soul.
There was no telling how long had passed.
Deep inside her soul, another elastic 'safety rope' seemed to have appeared and tugged at her brutally.
The howling wind around her was much weaker. The softness under her feet gradually turned hard and stable. She sensed the existence of her limbs, head, and internal organs again.
The teleportation was over.
"Is this the Bloody Battle Demon Sector?"
Theresa slowly opened her eyes. Holding her saber in one hand and preparing to release attack spells with the other, she observed the world around her with great interest.
As she expected, the super-large teleportation array that connected the Glorious World and the Bloody Battle Demon Sector should have been partly damaged. It had lost the function of locking onto the relative location and automatically gathering a large batch of teleporters.
She and Blackjack's harem sisters should have been randomly distributed within a range of dozens of square kilometers, and they could not see each other.
Fortunately, she had been holding Princess A Xia tightly until the last moment. Their coordinates should be relatively close.
Theresa calmed her pounding heart and took a deep breath. She immediately sensed the air of the Realm of Devils, which was cold, damp, stinky, sticky, and mixed with the vague smell of sulfur and rust.
The devilish energy that was unbearable for other people, on the other hand, had a weird sense of intimacy for Theresa. Wasn't her hometown, the Land of Sins, a place with such a harsh environment and filthy air exactly the same?
"Even the Bloody Plateau of the Land of Sins failed to trap me. I'm not scared of a tiny Bloody Battle Devil!"
Theresa stuck out her tongue and made a face at someone. She raised the tip of her nose and observed the surroundings.
The surroundings were still shrouded in a faint layer of fog. Light purple, yellowish brown, dark green, dark blue … The air here seemed to have been washed in a bottle of colorful dye. The whole world was like a painting with crazy imagination, and the visibility was extremely low.
However, even with such low visibility, Theresa could see that there was no sky in the Bloody Battle Demon World. Naturally, there were no stars or satellites. About a few hundred meters above her head, there was a dome that stretched as far as the eye could see.
Every hundreds of meters, a dim light source would be distributed on the dome in a regular pattern, bringing light and heat that were better than nothing to the mysterious world.
This place is not the surface of a certain planet, Theresa thought to herself.
If it is a habitable planet, the sun and the stars will certainly be visible, just like the sun can be seen clearly during the day on the Emerald Continent.
Even if it is an extremely twisted world fragment, there shouldn't be such a regular distribution of light sources in the 'sky'. It's obviously a sign of artificial construction.
She looked around and discovered that the point of her teleportation seemed to be inside a complicated canyon.
There were steep cliffs on both sides, covered in all kinds of suspicious vines and humus. They looked like bizarre, colorful tapestries that hung down and extended all the way to her feet. It was soft when she stepped on them, and they were even making squeaking noises.
Theresa picked up some of the humus with the tip of her saber and rubbed it carefully in her hands.
The texture seems to be a mixture of some kind of moss and earthworms. If it is not poisonous, it should be edible. Also, it contains abundant energy. It is a very good energy supplier at the bottom of the food chain.
Despite her stunning appearance, Theresa was not a delicate young lady. In her hometown, in the Land of Sins, for survival, she and the people in her hometown had been feeding on synthesized food all year long. To improve their lives, they could eat anything, including earthworms, rats, and all kinds of insects.
"Interesting. Just what kind of place is this so-called 'Bloody Battle Demon World'?"
Theresa thought for a moment and turned her saber around. She held it tightly with both hands and stabbed it into the wriggling humus under her feet, all the way to the bottom.
But out of her expectation, the saber hit something that was as hard as iron and could not be stabbed any further.
No matter how hard Theresa tried or where she stabbed it, the result was the same. After about one meter into the ground, she would run into the most solid ground. Even if the tip of the saber was broken, it would not be able to penetrate half a centimeter deeper.
How interesting. Below the active humus that is one meter thick is some kind of solid and flat material. Is it metal?
Theresa thought to herself. If it were rocks, it wouldn't be so flat. There should be a certain degree of curvature. Only man-made scenes have such a feature.
She stood straight and looked into the distance. From the cliffs on the two sides, she saw rows of semicircular protrusions that dangled down like dragons. They seemed to extend all the way from the sky to the ground.
Although they were covered by vines and humus, the arrangement of the 'dragons' was too regular. Pondering for a moment, Theresa realized that it was something that she was very familiar with.
They're tubes!
Theresa thought to herself, "So, the 'cliffs' where so many tubes are arranged are not natural landforms, but some kind of large man-made structure. This is not a canyon, but a super enormous channel inside a large structure?
The channel alone is already so enormous. I wonder how splendid and complicated the whole structure is!
Theresa thought of the starships of the Pangu civilization.
She had the feeling that ants were crawling in a giant's palace.
But she was not too shocked, because it was within her expectations.
"As I expected, the Bloody Battle Devil Sector does not seem to be natural but some kind of man-made product. My guess was correct!" Theresa mumbled to herself.
