The exploration operation this time had gathered the best specialists and adventure teams in the entire Pangu universe. It was much more advanced than Li Linghai's solo operations in the past. The puzzles that Li Linghai could not solve were certainly solved by the specialists and scholars.
Everybody rubbed their fists and could not wait to pass through the 'Mithril Ball' and enter the Supreme Emperor's mausoleum.
Li Yao was the only one who was still frowning, feeling that something was not right.
"The entrance of the Supreme Emperor's mausoleum is so close to the two Supreme Fortresses? However, there are no traces of the other three Supreme Fortresses around the entrance of the mausoleum. What does it mean exactly? "

The specialists and the adventure teams were still dwelling in the ecstasy of finding the entrance of the mausoleum. Everybody was focused on analyzing and calculating the data transmitted by the probe cameras. Li Yao's roar dazed them for a moment, but they did not realize what was going on so quickly. "… What?"
"Hurry up and put on the Mustard Suit, the Crystal Suit, the Colossus, and all the defense magical equipment that you can find!"
Li Yao was so excited that his voice was almost distorted. "Get as far away from the two goddamn fortresses as possible!"
Although they did not know what was going on, everybody trusted the intuition of Li Yao, an expert in the Divinity Branching Stage, almost instinctively. Before their rational minds realized what was going on, their bodies had already activated all kinds of defense magical equipment from their Cosmos Rings. The exploration team that was trying to enter the Thick Soil Fortress temporarily stopped, too.
This action saved the lives of many people.
One minute after Li Yao said that, all the starships detected the most terrifying high-energy reactions deep inside the lifeless Thick Earth Fortress. The dying super space fortress was still struggling. Some of the fuel and ammunitions were not detonated yet, but they were exploding brutally at this moment!
The remains of the Thick Earth Battlefortress turned into a whirlpool of destruction.
It turned from a lifeless, earthy gray into a dazzling orange red. Flames spurted out of the narrow cracks like magma, turning into countless streams of high-energy particles that swept across everything around. Then, it turned into an enormous ball of light. The ball of light suddenly expanded and soon expanded to hundreds of kilometers in radius.
In the vacuum of space, the threat of the blast was not very strong. However, after such an enormous space fortress was completely shattered, countless pieces rushed out with high kinetic energy and initial speed, like a storm of bullets.
Not just the Thick Earth Battlefortress, even the remains of the Burning Fire Fortress that had been on the brink of collapse further exploded, creating countless terrifying traps around the exploration fleet and on the way forward.
It was impossible that so much fuel and ammunitions were left on the remains of the Burning Fire Fortress to explode at the same time.
Unless somebody had installed tremendous crystal bombs on the remains on purpose.
It was a trap. A trap that Lu Qingchen intentionally set up.
Maybe it was true that the two Supreme Battlefortresses collapsed because of the collision of the two satellites, but with Lu Qingchen's ruthlessness and craziness, how could he have lost two fifths of his combat ability for nothing without using the corpses of the two Supreme Battlefortresses and the crew members to do something?

The carrier in the lead was almost riddled with holes because of the debris. Even though the crew members inside had put on their crystal suits and raised their super alloy shields in time, they were still dizzy because of the blast. Their internal organs were burning, and they were vomiting blood crazily.
Li Yao's exploration starships that were scattered at the periphery were hit by the burning debris, too. Their spiritual shields were flickering violently, and a lot of precious energy was consumed in the moment. Some of them were even deviated from their trajectories and fell into the area where the meteoroids were densest and fiercest.
The mainframe crystal processors of all the starships were ringing devastating alarms, each higher than the last. It was the sound that the debris and meteoroids were about to crash into the starships and that they could only resist the attacks with brute force. BOOM! BOOM!
BOOM! BOOM!
BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! The debris and the meteoroids hit the shell of the starships one after another, raising glamorous flowers of energy. The atmosphere inside the cabin was depressing, and everybody was panicking.
Everybody knew that Lu Qingchen's plan could not have been so simple.
Now that he was willing to build such an enormous trap with the remains of the two Supreme Battlefortresses, he must have more aggressive serial methods that he was going to perform.
As they expected!
At the periphery of the gravity sphere of "Gu Shisan", in the area where the meteoroids were densest, a thousand dazzling pillars of light darted close like spears, catching the exploration fleet unprepared. Then, a space fortress that was as narrow and long as a saber dashed out of the darkness and slashed at the exploration fleet overwhelmingly.
It turned out to be the "Sharp Metal Fortress", which had the highest attack ability of the five Supreme Battlefortresses!
Behind the exploration fleet, also under the cover of the meteoroids and the violent radiation, a blue space fortress that looked like a hazy mist was quickly condensed and surfaced on the surface of the water, emitting enchanting and evil colors. It was the Phantom Ocean Fortress, one of the five Supreme Fortresses that was best at stealth and mental attacks!
The two Supreme Battlefortresses attacked the exploration fleet from the front and the back. They did not disguise themselves at all, nor did they consider any routes of retreat. They simply charged at the exploration fleet at the highest speed and with the fiercest barrage.
A lot of space shuttles and Crystal Suit were also released from the two Supreme Battlefortresses. Like dense swarms of bees, they tried to approach the exploration fleet under the cover of the barrage and the meteoroids for the most chaotic and time-consuming "boarding battle".
"Is Lu Qingchen … out of his mind?"
Li Yao bulged his eyes and looked at the most absurd scene, having no idea what was on Lu Qingchen's mind.
Although the five Supreme Battlefortresses were the crystallization of the resources and technologies of the Holy League in the past thousand years, they were just five "blockheads" with a single function after all.
Modern wars were unprecedentedly complicated and precise. What mattered was cooperation and system. In order to make the best use of the Supreme Battlefortresses, the cooperation of countless shield warships, arsenal warships, and Colossi was necessary. Lu Qingchen did not have any of those things. Even the maintenance and control of the Supreme Battlefortresses themselves were not very good.
What was more critical was that they were in a "perilous land" where torrents of meteoroids were ferocious and the magnetic field was chaotic. The larger the size and the more intense the spiritual energy reactions of the super-large magical equipment, the more severe the blows and interferences they would suffer. Was Lu Qingchen not scared that he would repeat the mistakes of the "Thick Earth Fortress" and the "Burning Fire Fortress" and obliterate the two space fortresses in the universe?
Although Li Yao and Li Linghai's exploration fleet did not carry the most powerful super arsenal warships, they had more than a hundred Colossi. Naturally, they were not scared of Lu Qingchen's final struggle. His willingness to show up voluntarily and get himself killed saved everybody a lot of trouble.
"Do you think that such a simple trap can trap us? Such a childish idea, Lu Qingchen, it's not like you! "
Li Yao mumbled to himself. Then, he heard Li Linghai's order in the communication channel. "Colossi, move out!" Xiu!
Xiu! Xiu!
Xiu! Xiu! Ding Ling Dong led dozens of Colossi to be projected onto the battlefield. Turning into colorful streaks of brilliance, they charged at the two Supreme Battlefortresses in front and behind under the cover of the barrage on their own side.
For the enormous and clumsy space fortresses, the Colossi were their "natural enemy". Once the enemy's Colossi crawled into their bodies, they would be like an elephant whose nose was crawled by a mouse. They would not be able to perform any techniques at all.
The only thing that could stop the enemy's Colossi was their own Colossi.
However, according to the information collected by Xiaoming and Wenwen, the number of Colossi that Lu Qingchen took away together with the five Supreme Battlefortresses was not large. There couldn't have been more than ten.
The Holy League was never known for their individual combat ability. The tactics of their Colossi were rigid and lacked distinctive styles. It was very easy to figure out their patterns. Even on the battlefield of the Imperium's counterattack, they did not have much of an advantage when they were faced with the Immortal Cultivators of the same number. It was needless to say that they were suppressed by the coalition army of the Federation, the Imperium, and the Holy League with absolute numbers.
As it turned out, in the stone belt outside of the gravity sphere of "Gu Shisan" in the next half hour, an almost one-sided slaughter took place.
The groups of Exos and space shuttles released by the two Supreme Battlefortresses did not have Colossi as the core. As a result, when they were attacked by Ding Ling Dong and the rest of them who were made of Colossi, Crystal Suits, space shuttles, and battle puppets, they were barely able to fight back and collapsed immediately.
