The fireball expanded nonstop like a colorful, deformed tumor, but it extended its tentacles to the surroundings and swallowed the most precious oxygen in the underground space. Then, it released a tremendous amount of black fog that was as thick as ink.
"Enemy attack! Enemy attack! "
The defense positions of the Imperial Guards below the ground immediately fell into chaos. Officers were roaring desperately everywhere. Countless battle puppets and Crystal Suit flew to the sky together. Mystic rays that were enough to pierce through the black fog swept back and forth like golden blades. Several Colossi even rose from the ground and jumped to the central factory area of the energy center after only one step, but they could not catch the mental devil and Neltharion that were causing trouble at all.
Just as the Imperial Guards were shouting anxiously, a powerful aura that could topple mountains and overturn seas descended from the sky and suddenly appeared in front of them.
It was Li Linghai!
"Li Linghai" had a head full of translucent white hair. Surrounded by the most dominating purple flames, and his face seemed to be covered in a thick ice shell. He roared hysterically, "It's Li Yao. It was chaos everywhere. A lot of people were shooting at the sky. A lot of people were in a hurry to extinguish the fire in the energy center so that the central area would not be affected by the flames. It was especially so in the warehouses where abundant crystals and marrow crystals were stored. Some of the soldiers who were not strong enough were already blushing and dizzy because of the lack of oxygen. Nobody noticed Li Yao's existence.
Li Yao snuck to the back of the armored vehicle that was transporting the Meditation Healers.
The team of Imperial Guards who were responsible for escorting the Meditation Healers, however, was in a dilemma. They did not know whether they should enter the Gold Crystal Pyramid immediately or wait outside for further orders.
Their commander was looking up at "Li Linghai" in midair, as if he were waiting for further instructions.

The moment the fire burst out, Li Yao lunged out like an invisible leopard and grabbed a soldier at the end of the line, dragging him to the bottom of the armored vehicle.
