Neither the bodyguards, the assassins, nor the assassins who pretended to be bodyguards, nor the traitors among the assassins who pretended to be bodyguards could have foreseen that the explosions would take place all of a sudden and at the same time in almost five locations around the Commodity Market.
Although Li Yao used the smoke grenades, stun grenades, and shrieking grenades that were not very destructive, they were even more intimidating than the real crystal bombs.
For a moment, all the common glasses in the thousands of square meters were shattered. Cracks that looked like a spider web appeared on the tempered glass. Countless tubes were also broken, spurting out scorching steam in scorching noises.
There were even countless people who were shaken to the point their hearts almost stopped beating. Their ears were buzzing while hot and moist liquid flowed out. Even their souls were like a lone boat in a stormy sea, and they were unable to recover from the shock for a long time.

The last rookie assassin had a bit of a brain, but he didn't even bother to use his sniper rifle. He curled up his body into a small ball like a cat and quickly retreated to the exit of the ventilation duct, trying to find a way to escape.
Those three shrimps were the key to the whole plan. Once they moved, the defenders who had locked onto them would have to move too, whether to kill them or to run away.

The three ventilation tubes were broken abruptly. The dozen or so defenders who had been hiding below the tubes soared to the sky. Somebody blocked the sight of the two rookie assassins and Jin Yuyan, somebody threw the electromagnetic whips that were surrounded by electric arcs at the rookie assassins, and somebody blocked the exits of the three ventilation tubes. Not only were they as agile as cats, it was impossible for them to escape even if they had wings!
For a moment, exclamations, screams, screams, and explosions of the heavy sniper rifles almost at the same time!
The explosions of the heavy sniper rifles were like earsplitting signals. The unexpected changes left the assassins of the four families lurking outside with no choice but to take action in a hurry.
Although it was not the best time to assassinate Jin Yuyan today, after such a fuss, the security forces around Jin Yuyan would certainly be upgraded. He might even hide in the safest secret room in the inner district for a couple of days. Then, the assassination operation that they had been planning for a long time would be in vain.
The seven groups of people that Li Yao had locked onto just now all took action.
The seemingly fat businessmen who had been talking a moment ago immediately unleashed the most intense killing intent. Their fat bodies were immediately constricted into brutal wolves as they lunged at the Commodity Market like arrows released from the bow. Surrounded by glamorous colors, they were all equipped with the most advanced armor!

More assassins and bodyguards tore apart their disguises, either attacking Jin Yuyan or standing before Jin Yuyan to protect him as he retreated.
Li Yao even detected more than thirty sniper points among the densely packed skyscrapers. At least fifty snipers were locking onto Jin Yuyan or each other!
However, none of those people were the targets that Li Yao was really looking for. They were not strong enough to be the main characters of the assassination game.
"Black Flag King, Red Lady, Hanged Man, and Returner of the Dead Sea … Where are you 'four gods of death' hiding? Come out now! Come out now!"
Li Yao narrowed his eyes and locked onto every detail around the smoky, chaotic market through the thirty "spiritual mosquitoes".
Right then, the spiritual waves not far away from the market suddenly became chaotic. Then, exclamations and fighting noises echoed.
"It seems that the few assassins who thought of the same thing as us have long been targeted by the defenders of the Business Alliance of Ten Thousand Sectors. It means that this place is no longer safe. We will certainly be targeted, or at least examined."
Li Yao said without looking back, "Jialing, pack up. Let's go!"
Li Jialing stored the scraps on the ground into his Cosmos Ring. Putting on the large black goggles and the hood again, he nodded his head.
"Let's split up after we get out of here. Your mission is to collect as much intelligence as possible. I'm going to talk to Jin Yuyan!"
Li Yao smiled. "Let's go!"
He opened his hands and pointed at the wall right in front of him.
Streaks of light flashed across his palm, and even the wall started to show multicolored ripples.
With a telepathic thought, the wall was pulverized into powder without a sound, and an enormous hole appeared on it.
And it wasn't just the wall in front of them. Behind them, the walls that separated them from the street all had the same holes.
Shua! Shua!
Li Yao and Li Jialing turned into two streaks of brilliance and rushed into the chaotic crowd on the smoky street before the defenders noticed and stopped them.
Li Jialing crouched and soon disappeared into the crowd.
Li Yao, on the other hand, was truly like a loach or an eel as he swam against the current and crawled into the Commodity Market.
In the meantime, every detail of the chaotic world around him, including the temperature, the wind, the humidity, the micro-expressions on the panicked crowd, the movements of the assassins and the bodyguards who were fighting, the sniping points on the skyscrapers, and the crowd around Jin Yuyan far away, turned into a series of complicated data that popped up in his head in a way that he could not see anything.
"Brother Yao, I'm ready!"
Li Jialing's voice came over from the communication chip that was stuck deep inside Li Yao's ears. "However, this place is too chaotic. It is impossible to tell who is the assassin and who is the bodyguard!"
"It doesn't matter. Those guys who are having a heated battle are all supporting roles and not important. Focus on the people around Jin Yuyan."
Narrowing his eyes, Li Yao moved toward Jin Yuyan like a ghost. He was three hundred meters away from Jin Yuyan, two hundred meters, a hundred meters away. "If my guess is correct, the four families must've bought over one of the four gods of death, and the 'god of death' is right next to Jin Yuyan right now, about to launch a critical attack in the chaos!"
"Then —"
Li Jialing gasped hard. "Wouldn't Jin Yuyan be in danger? Brother Yao, you are playing with fire by stimulating the assassin like this! "
"It doesn't matter. Everything is under my control. The assassin doesn't stand a chance at all!"
Li Yao smiled. Neltharion had long entered the stealth state under the control of the mental devil. It hid in the smoke in midair and locked onto everybody around Jin Yuyan from the high stance.

Li Yao said to Li Jialing.
Right then, when Jin Yuyan was about to return to his bulletproof car surrounded by his bodyguards, an abrupt change took place!
The three bodyguards next to him and the four magnates not far away suddenly attacked Jin Yuyan with brutality beaming out of their eyes!
In a tall building not far away, there was also an unstoppable killing intent pouring out like a flood from a broken dam.
"What an awesome sniper!"
Li Yao's pupils constricted violently.
He had scanned the possible locations of snipers in the tall buildings nearby dozens of times just now, but he did not discover such an awesome sniper who was hiding here.

The bullet slid out of the barrel and disappeared into the void, covering a thousand meters in the blink of an eye. It was not until it was almost thirty meters away from Jin Yuyan's head that it finally crawled out of the void abruptly.
Everybody's attention was focused on the close-range assassination of the seven assassins. Nobody noticed the soundless bullet at all.
Li Yao was the only one who had locked onto the trajectory of the bullet the whole time. Neltharion turned into a devastating streak of blood and knocked the bullet away precisely, brushing past Jin Yuyan!
"As long as' Vulture Li Yao 'is here, nobody can hurt Jin Yuyan today!"
Li Yao sneered. His words were full of unparalleled confidence that was above the Divinity Transformation Stage!
