In Li Yao's senses, the monster in the shape of a giant crab seemed to have grasped techniques similar to the 'Soul Igniting Law'. In the blink of an eye, it burst into a furious ocean of fire from a dying spark.
The dry mud shell around its body was falling off in spluttering noises. The intimidating aura of the monster was as good as that of any high-level demon beast that Li Yao had ever seen. Before anyone realized what was going on, it had already lunged at the spectral Cultivator in the lead, wagging its tail.
Thankfully, Meng Chixin and Wu Suiyun, the two Divinity Transformation Stage Cultivators, had suffered great losses from the monster before. The moment the 'fossil' appeared, everybody had already raised their wariness to the maximum. Right when the 'shell' that seemed to be dead began to crack, Li Yao had already opened his fingers and summoned the spectral Cultivator back with the remote manipulation technique. Then, he stepped forward and stood between the monster and the members of the exploration team.
From the gaps of the plate armor on his right arm, black flames of spiritual energy dashed out gloomily. After hovering quickly, they condensed into a black blade that looked like an enormous feather in front of his arm. Crimson electric arcs were dancing on the blade, blinking unpredictably.
After missing the target, the giant crab's more than ten sharp tentacles all pierced into the ground. Dozens of holes that looked like baby lips opened on its back, from which tremendous black fog spurted out and swept toward everybody as if it were alive. Beep! Beep! Beep! Beep!

The life test magical equipment was beeping nonstop, indicating that a lot of microbes were hiding inside the black fog and were alive!
Thankfully, their Crystal Suits were highly airtight, and their internal respiratory system had been activated. Otherwise, the mist that was filled with weird microbes alone would have been enough to embarrass them.
Li Yao did not want to kill the giant crab, but he wanted to capture it alive for studies.
But out of his expectation, the giant crab had such a high resistance to spiritual energy and telepathic thoughts. Even his enormous spiritual energy, which was close to the Divinity Transformation Stage, could not stop the giant crab's movement at all. All the limbs of the giant crab exploded like springs, and its body was extended to almost ten meters long as it lunged at Li Yao overwhelmingly!
Its abdomen was also full of dense holes and sacs. Bright green acid darted out at a speed faster than bullets and penetrated through quite a few layers of spiritual shields more than easily. Some of it even splashed onto Li Yao's Crystal Suit.
Bright green foam immediately popped up on the surface of Li Yao's Crystal Suit, which was riddled with holes because of corrosion.

"Although we did not detect the limits of the lives in the Pangu laboratory just now, it is very likely that a lot of giant crabs are hibernating in the 'spore state' and will be woken up when they sense the brainwaves of living creatures.
"Also, their acids are so powerful that they can corrode our Crystal Suit and leave cracks on it. Neither the Crystal Suit nor the mustard-seed combat suit is safe!

"All Exos, mark your location and physical condition on your tactical crystal processor. Make sure that everybody is safe and sound!"

Very soon, light spots appeared on the light beam and were distributed around the crab factory. Every light spot contained a heartbeat, breath, brainwave scan, secretion of hormones, and many other indexes.
However …
There were seventeen Exos in the group, but only sixteen light spots.
"Where is' Sha Yue ', the last member?"
Li Yao frowned hard. He confirmed several times, but he could not find the last Exo.
