In the original works, Ji Ning had been a Daolord of the Fourth Step, and he had been able to crush his opponents with ease. Now, however, Zhou Tong was just a Daolord of the Third Step. The first two trials weren't a big deal, but the third one wasn't guaranteed.

"Strange lifeforms that use the power of the metal element as their core. They're quite strong, but in the Dao of the Five Elements, fire counters metal!" Zhou Tong glanced at these lifeforms, casually studying them for a moment, then ignored them.
He openly walked through this region of golden mist. At the same time, a layer of strange flames appeared around him. These flames seemed intangible, but they carried with them a mysterious, bewildering aura.

He was covered in these illusory Illusory Flames, and just like that, he walked through the golden mist.
