Although there were some mansions on the riverside of the emperor's imperial city, all the mansions on the other side looked solemn with high walls and vermilion gates. Additionally, there were very few people on the riverside. They could even see teams of armored soldiers passing by the riverside from time to time …
On the other side of the Golden Water River, it was another scene. There were dense gaily-painting pleasure boats and yachts on the riverside. There were also many signs of taverns and restaurants on the riverside. Many skiffs and gaily-painting pleasure boats were anchored on the riverside of the taverns and restaurants. Many people came ashore to drink, eat, call their friends, sing loudly, and flirt with each other. What a boisterous scene!
What was even rarer was that the rows of willow trees on both sides of the Golden Water River were still green even though it was already November.
