I've never been very good at writing thank-you speeches, although there are indeed too many people to thank in this book.
First of all, of course, to all of you, dear readers. I know that some of my readers followed me from [The Genius Magician and the Natural Idiot Hero], or even earlier, [The Great Escort]. My first book was purely for my own entertainment, and at that time, my royalties were around 99 RMB a month. It was quite auspicious, haha.
But no matter what, this was the first book that started my writing career.
But until Tian Tian Tian Daze, I didn't expect to go so far on this road.
If "The Great Escort" was purely because I couldn't stand the world's ridicule and self-satisfaction, then "Tian Tian Daze" was purely because I wanted to write a simple love story while also taking into account the market.
It was also one of the lowest points in my life. When I started writing, I thought that it would be great if there was a love as hard as the deep-fried dough sticks in the cafeteria.
Therefore, "Tian Tian Daze" was essentially a love fairy tale.
After that, I started writing "Interstellar White Rabbit Candy". That was still my favorite book. I kept saying in the group chat that I would spend a month to finish it after I finished writing this book. Wei Ze was like a reflection of myself. He was probably the one I had invested the most emotion into out of all the characters I had written. Of course, there was also the cute Two Thousand Five Hundred. I owed them the final destination.
Then there's this 48. I hope to be able to approach the general public's aesthetic principles and explore a different path of the infinite style. At the same time, I have to admit that when I first started writing, I underestimated the difficulty of this. Because I wrote a lot of realistic settings, in order to increase the sense of realism, basically every time I open a new dungeon, I have to look up information and redo a set of settings.
The more he wrote, the more he realized that there was so much to learn, and he kept scratching his head … It was like going back to the time when he took the postgraduate entrance exam.
However, after leaving school, he could no longer use the internet. He could only rely on reference books and Baidu.
Of course, there would definitely be bugs as well, because any one of these backgrounds would probably require a lifetime of research. I probably only wrote something about the size of the stuffing in a university cafeteria.
…
I just want to say that I'm very grateful for your company, especially when I'm sad and at a low point. Your support is the best gift the world has given me.
Writing a book is a very lonely thing. I know many people say so, but that doesn't stop it from being a very lonely thing. Your subscriptions, your monthly votes, your recommendation votes, your comments, and your messages make my nights not so lonely.
I always hear many readers, including myself, complain that there are fewer and fewer books suitable for Lao Bai. But this is essentially the result of market selection. Authors, especially veteran authors, who have been writing for so long, they more or less know how to write to earn money. We cannot change the general trend. All we can do is silently subscribe and vote for the books.
The world will not change for the better on its own. We need to change it ourselves, little by little, and every day will be better. That's enough.
So, once again, I would like to thank everyone who has been supporting this book. It's not just the nine Guild Masters of this book, Jiang Nan (my first Silver Guild Master), Moat Abyss, Stellar Union, LebronKings, Qian Qianxue, Innocent Little Ge, Fallen Dragon, Black Tiger Vanguard, Hajerwawa … and many more familiar IDs who have voted for this book, subscribed to it, and gifted it to me. You are the biggest and only reason why this book has been able to grow to where it is now.
Also, of course, I want to thank my Qidian for letting my work be seen by more people, especially my editor, Yuan Zheng. Although we rarely chat on QQ, I always feel at ease with him around. Because he is the kind of person who quietly arranges everything and notifies me when I have recommendations and when I want to add updates.
Then, I stood him up.
I hope he doesn't have a notebook to record such things.
…
As for my family, I will tell them in person. Hahaha, I am very grateful for their understanding.
Finally, what I hope the most, which is also the original intention of this book, is to bring happiness to everyone while reading. I also hope that everyone can be healthy, safe, and happy.
That's what I, the little dumbo, have to say.
