Chapter 3608

Words:1692Update:23/10/11 18:50:33

Report

The golden light of dusk shone on the soft and snowy white ground, creating a beautiful scene.

A few small creatures were rolling around on the ground, occasionally moving around, occasionally grabbing a handful of white powder from the ground and throwing it into the sky. They were very happy.

The environment of this place … wasn't bad.

There was a snowy white ball of fur in the sky, looking down at the creatures below.

Lin arrived here not too long ago … this place was the world within the 'Bones of Infinite Worlds' command center.

This world's civilization was responsible for controlling the Bones of Infinite Worlds and all other worlds.

Interestingly, although they had the right to change the rules of other worlds … they couldn't change their own world.

However, their own world seemed … quite good.

The environment here reminded Lin of a sea of clouds, as there were snowy white cloud-like objects floating in the air everywhere.

These 'clouds' were usually several hundred meters in size, and all sorts of creatures and buildings could be seen on them.

The buildings were usually several dozen kilometers in size, and could be considered the main civilization area.

This was the world of the civilization that controlled the Bones of Infinite Worlds.

It was said that they had an interesting history.

Originally, this world was spherical like most Rollers, but it was destroyed in a certain war. In order to continue living, the inhabitants of this world used certain methods to transform the fragments of their world into this cloud-like structure.

They then established a civilization on top of this cloud-like structure.

Although it was said to be a simulated world, one could do whatever one wanted … but each world was still set with very strict rules.

And every world had different rules.

Lin came here mainly to investigate a few things, as well as to see the overall system of these worlds.

This would help Lin investigate the changes in the spatial rules.

Lin was able to connect to their worlds mainly through Dreamscape energy. Lin found that Dreamscape energy could perfectly connect to the simulated world inside the Bones of Infinite Worlds.

Then, Lin connected some of the fur ball soldiers to the Dreamscape world. This way … she could use the identity of a fur ball to investigate this place.

The Bones of Infinite Worlds' real bodies had been brought by Lin to a place on the fur ball … in a laboratory to be studied.

The Headworms were studying the Bones of Infinite Worlds' external structure, while Lin entered the simulated world to do her research.

From outside, Lin could see that the Bones of Infinite Worlds were in a hurry to escape the laboratory. But after entering the simulated world, Lin found that the inhabitants of this world … didn't seem to be in a hurry.

Or perhaps they didn't know because they were only commoners?

Lin was flying above a cloud like a velvet ball. She could see that there were many creatures in the clouds below.

They were shaped like … lightning.

To be precise, it was a ball of electricity with a diameter of about half a meter that kept flashing.

This was the most basic form of the inhabitants of this world.

The most basic reason was that … they could transform into different forms under different circumstances.

Now, Lin could see a small electric ball touching her body to a protruding cloud.

The cloud immediately stuck to the flickering electric ball and slowly mixed with the electric ball.

This way, it would turn into … a small thundercloud.

It was through this method that they could mix with the various' substances' here and turn themselves into a hybrid.

Other than the most common 'cloud', they could also mix in with the occasional objects like stone or metal. After mixing in, they could use their new body to work or construct things. That was how the electric clusters built their civilization.

However, most of the civilian lightning balls maintained their most primitive state, and Lin would occasionally see a few mixed up for fun.

Lin felt that it might be difficult for them to materialize like this.

While thinking about this, Lin was also noticed by the electric clusters below. However, they ignored Lin.

That was because the velvet ball looked very similar to some of the wild animals here.

There were also various wild animals roaming about in this' cloud '. Most of them were similar to the snow-white color of the cloud itself.

As Lin floated through the air, she could see many wild animals roaming about in the complicated terrain of the cloud layer.

Although the electric clusters were a species of civilization here, there weren't many of them here because this was considered a wild area for them.

And not far ahead, she could see a city of electric clusters.

A large number of towering buildings were built one kilometer ahead of the velvet ball … all the buildings were cylindrical in shape, and there were many thick wires connecting these buildings.

This was quite similar to Ershi Min's … electric towers.

And it was indeed so.

When Lin flew closer, she could see that there were countless flashing lights on the surface of these cylindrical buildings.

Each flashing light represented an electric cluster. Some of them stayed where they were, while others would go through the wires … to the buildings in the distance.

There were also some flashing lights that would fly to the top of the cylindrical building … there was a small opening at the top. Whenever a flashing light reached there, an electric cluster would float out from the opening.

The electric cluster could also enter the cylindrical building through the opening and turn back into a flashing light on the surface of the cylindrical building.

This was the electric cluster's … life.

All of their social activities, entertainment, work and so on were carried out in this cylindrical building. However, Lin couldn't see how this was done from the outside.

This was because the electric cluster could transform itself into something similar to … electricity and fuse with various objects.

When fusing with the cylindrical building, the electric cluster's surroundings were all kinds of signals, and there was nothing 'real'. That was all Lin understood so far.

Of course, Lin didn't understand it here. Instead, she used the Phoenix translator outside to check the control room of the Bones of Worlds to understand the general settings of the electric cluster civilization.

But Lin … had no way to understand the details, such as what kind of life these electric clusters lived in the cylindrical building.

In any case … Lin's main purpose here was to investigate the 'history of the Bones of Worlds' that they knew.

Although Lin had a general understanding of everything, she still had to personally investigate the detailed history.

It was possible that one of the cylindrical buildings was a library of the electric cluster's history, and a large amount of information was stored inside.

If Lin wanted to look through them one by one, it would be a waste of time, because if she wanted to read the information inside, she would first have to touch the cylindrical building and let her dreamforce slowly … seep into it to know the situation inside.

This process was very long.

But Lin found a way to let her dreamforce spread quickly, and that was to use a powerful explosive.
