A long, long time ago, in the misty void.
There was a piece of … land.
Its shape was very irregular, and its temperature was as cold as the void. It seemed to be floating alone in the void … but in fact, it was not alone.
On this land, there were many creatures.
These creatures had also adapted to life in the void. In the extremely low temperature and airless environment, they were looking for anything edible on this floating land.
Among these creatures, the most conspicuous one was … Po Yan.
These huge creatures were like a chain of amber mountains. They covered every corner of the entire continent and almost completely occupied this small floating world.
However, they quickly ended this invasion because the nutrients on the land were about to be exhausted. A large number of Po Yan were ready to do the last thing in their life stage.
That was to fly into the void and blow themselves into pieces … The broken pieces would leave this place and go to the void to find the next target with nutrients.
However, the Po Yan suddenly stopped this action because they found that on the originally depleted continent, there were new nutrients appearing again.
Therefore, they continued to collect nutrients in this place and continued to grow …
As the nutrients were collected, these Po Yan grew bigger and bigger. However, no matter how much they absorbed, they found that the nutrients on this continent were always very sufficient.
Even so, they would not stay here forever. After a period of time, the Po Yan decided to fly, and regardless of whether there were nutrients here or not, they planned to start to divide … and reproduce.
These Po Rocks eventually exploded in the void, but after the explosion, only a small number of fragments flew to other places. Most of the fragments … flew back to their original floating continents.
They continued to absorb the nutrients on the continent and grew into a new group of Po Yan, and then continued the cycle of life.
However, these fragments did not all grow into ordinary Po Yan. Some of the fragments grew into … 'Recorder Po Yan' for unknown reasons.
After these Recorder Po Yan grew up, they began to investigate and record the history of this floating continent, including all kinds of detailed information such as the ecological environment and so on. They would investigate and record everything.
However, they would not record everything. They would only record things that were considered useful to the entire 'Po Yan' species.
Even so, they still recorded a considerable amount of information. The recorder first investigated the environment of this place and quickly found that there was a problem.
Here, the nutrients available for Po Yan to absorb were constantly increasing, making it impossible for them to absorb all of it.
Because at the last moment of Po Yan's explosion, most of the fragments would 'automatically' fly to the next place with nutrients … Under normal circumstances, Po Yan would only split after absorbing all the nutrients in the area.
On this continent, the Po Yan had split apart before it could absorb all the nutrients on the continent. At the moment of the explosion, the fragments flew back to the continent as they sensed the nutrients on the continent and continued the cycle of life.
After discovering this, the Recorder began to investigate the reason for the continents' endless supply of nutrients. In their investigation … they discovered that it was caused by some kind of creature.
There was a type of creature that was constantly transporting nutrients to the continent. This caused the continent to be filled with nutrients. This type of creature trapped the group of Po Yan on the continent and continuously circulated their ecology. Hence, it was used to 'cage' the Po Yan here.
After understanding this matter, the Po Yan Recorder decided … to do nothing.
It was as if this matter had nothing to do with them. The recorder continued to record the history of this place as a 'bystander' and kept this history in a special recording amber.
After a period of time, the Recorder made a lot of Recording Amber, and these Recording Amber were discovered by the normal Po Yan.
These normal growth-type Po Yan were different from the Recorder. After they discovered this matter, they were very concerned. Their large population was trapped on this continent.
However, it was not up to them to decide where the shards would fly to after the explosion. These shards would fly to a target according to some … predetermined method.
The Po Yan used this method to spread in the void. They did not want to keep circulating on this continent, so they … decided to use some 'extreme' methods.
As long as this continent disappeared, it would be fine.
After making this decision, these mountain-like Po Rocks began to drill into the ground one after another. They were all connected to each other before, and after drilling to a certain position and positioning themselves … they began to do what they were supposed to do when they were breeding.
They blew themselves up.
This time, they did not only blow themselves up, but also the lonely continent floating in the void. It turned into gravel together with the Po Yan.
However, it did not completely turn into gravel.
Some of the Po Yan survived, or more accurately, a part of their body survived. They floated together with the gravel of the continent.
Among these Po Yan, there were also Po Yan Recorder who survived.
After these Recorder knew that the normal Po Yan was going to blow up the continent, they tried to find a way to hide. Although they seemed to be creatures that only knew how to record and did not care about anything else, if they encountered danger, the Recorder would still prioritize survival.
After successfully hiding in the body of another gigantic Po Yan and surviving, the Recorder began to continue their recording process.
They recorded the situation after the explosion. Most of the original Po Yan were shattered in the explosion, and the remaining ones were floating in the same place in a sleeping state.
Although they wanted to avoid being trapped by the continent, they did this act of blowing up the continent, but in the end, they did not seem to be able to escape.
But at least, if there were other similar species coming from afar, they would not be trapped here.
However, although this continent was blown up, the creatures that tried to transport nutrients to trap the Po Yan were still wandering around here.
Their situation was also recorded by the Recorder. These creatures were actually … Transpirators.
