"We've arrived at the library"
After a flash of light, a new scene appeared in the Scholar and Lin's vision.
The scene was completely dark, they could see debris and debris all over the ground, all of which were made of metal, corpses, machinery, and various other things.
This was the place called the library, but it had already collapsed.
"This place has become like this" the Scholar looked around and said: "If that's the case …"
"There might still be some documents that haven't been destroyed" Lin said: "Let's go look for them"
"That's the only thing we can do" Saying so, the Scholar began to search this place. She flipped through some of the debris and debris and looked around, but couldn't find anything that was intact.
"This place seems to be very serious, and there seems to be a lot of creatures gathered here" the Scholar looked at the corpses around her and said: "Perhaps the library was usually a very lively place"
"Yes" Lin didn't answer the Scholar, instead thinking about what happened earlier.
Earlier, the Scholar ran into a fellow Voidfolk in the hunting zone. Although it was possible for a Voidfolk to appear here, that Voidfolk wasn't a normal Voidfolk, but a Voidfolk that Lin knew.
Lin had once followed a Voidfolk captain to a certain Tumbler and lived there for a while, where she witnessed the living environment of the Void Bus fledglings.
After that, while Lin continued to observe the fledglings there, she didn't pay much attention to the captain. After a while, the captain suddenly disappeared.
She didn't expect him to appear in this place, but he had fallen into a crevice and was most likely dead.
"This one seems to still be alive" the Scholar's footsteps stopped. In front of her was a large mechanical device, and under the device was a very familiar creature, it was the bug.
"You"
The bug under the device spoke and looked at the Scholar. It spoke in a broken voice: "Run, this place will be completely destroyed in a bit"
The Scholar looked at the bug in shock: "Why are you here? Why aren't you outside"
Boom! The room shook violently, the large mechanical device on the bug's body rolled to one side due to the tremor, thus freeing the bug from being under the device. However, it could only crawl towards the Scholar with great difficulty: "I'm here to take it. As long as I take the ice outside, I'll still have it"
As soon as the Scholar asked that question, the bug stopped moving.
"It seems to be dead" the Scholar said: "But it said the ice outside. Is it referring to the Void Bus? If it could escape by taking the Void Bus, why would it come to this place? "
"Maybe because of that."
Lin shone a tiny ray of light over the scholar's head, and the ray of light pointed to a distant object on the ground.
This thing looked like a stone. It was about 30 centimeters in size and was covered with many small holes. It looked very strange, but it seemed to be the only thing in the vicinity that was relatively intact.
The Scholar walked to the stone and picked it up, "What is this?"
Beep! Suddenly, the Scholar's Disk made a sound. A 3D image popped up. This time, it was not a map but a large amount of information.
"Came into contact with a valid data acquisition item. Loading in progress."
A voice spoke in the common language of the floating rocks, as if the disk was extracting a large amount of information from the rocks, and both the Scholar and Lin were carefully paying attention to the information.
This information mainly described many things about the Void Buses, such as their growth, communication methods, and so on.
However, apart from these, there was also a lot of other information, such as the information records of the various creatures here. As well as some matters regarding the captors.
There was a description of the captors attacking the water ball.
However, these information only flashed by the title, and there was no way to see the details.
"I don't think I can stop before the loading is complete." The Scholar tried to stop the image on the disk to observe the useful information, but the image did not respond to the Scholar's actions. Now, it was still trying to obtain the information inside the stone. However, the information that came after it was all recipes and tool-making guides. It seemed to be completely useless.
Even if the Scholar put the rock down, it would still be the same.
"Anyway, let's leave first." Lin said, "Here."
Boom!
The roof above suddenly fell, and a piece of metal came crashing down towards the Scholar. Seeing this, the Scholar immediately jumped to the side to avoid the impact.
"Yes, let's run first." The Scholar looked around. It saw a glowing moving point not too far away, and immediately ran towards it.
Rumble! Rumble! Rumble! The entire place began to tilt, and everything slid to the side. The Scholar almost lost her balance and fell to the ground.
"Finally." The Scholar supported her body, avoided the things that rolled towards her, and ran to the moving point. However, before she could step into the moving point, the light from the moving point suddenly disappeared.
"What's wrong?" When the Scholar stepped on the moving point again, the surroundings did not change.
"The teleportation failed," Lin said, "and so did the gravity."
Buzz! Suddenly, a strange sound came from the ground. The Scholar noticed that the wreckage and other things in the room were all floating in the air, colliding with each other in the air.
"Did the gravity device fail?" The Scholar said, "Let's not talk about that for now. If that's the case, what should we do?"
"Woo!"
A strange sound suddenly came from the Scholar's side. The Scholar turned around and saw a strange-looking creature lunging at her. She quickly dodged to the side, avoiding the creature.
"There's a monster here?" The Scholar looked at the creature. It was swollen and looked like it was about to explode, but there were some armor plates attached to its swollen body. Lin could see that it was originally a civilized creature from the Floating Rocks, but something strange had happened to it that made it so swollen.
"This is good." The Scholar seemed to have finished loading the data and could adjust the map. It found a moving point nearby, and it led to the back of the warship.
"Gurgle." The swollen creature was still floating in the air, struggling. The Scholar ignored it and quickly flew towards the moving point.
