From the beginning, when I was writing the story of Que, De, and Dog, I was also quite happy.
But in the end, I started to hit a bottleneck.
Humorous and interesting plots were used up as time went on.
I tried hard not to repeat myself and tried to think of more interesting plots. As time went on, the pressure started to increase.
Five years ago, I was 23 years old. But in three years, when I was 26 years old, a large patch of white hair grew on the back of my head.
I thought something was wrong with me and went to check it out. I overused my brain and was slightly depressed.
In the end, I made it through and even published a single chapter announcing my return in high spirits.
But two days later, I faced a huge blow in my life. It's all in the past, so I won't dwell on it.
Since then, I was in a slump again. I updated every two or three days.
When I finally adjusted myself and got out of the slump, I had only started updating for a few days when I was hit by a wave of attacks in the online literature circle.
The entire book was blocked and requested to be corrected.
The word "vulgar" was very versatile. More than a hundred chapters were requested to be corrected because of the word "vulgar".
I changed until I broke down. This was tantamount to changing many of the interesting plots in the entire book.
The characters became boring, and the plot became strange. I changed and changed, but I couldn't change anymore.
Later, when I finally managed to change more than half of it, the book was released again. I continued to update, but the results at that time had seriously declined. Moreover, as I wrote, I struggled with the messy content that I had changed in the beginning. I wasn't in a good state.
To this day, there were still many people on my TikTok, Weibo, and official account asking me when I would update.
I didn't dare to reply. Sometimes, I tried to update in silence, but there were only a few hundred subscribers left.
Perhaps everyone has already left, but I think it's quite normal. There are so many good books out there, why do you guys keep chasing after my book?
In the past two years, I've been hesitating about whether or not I should start a new book.
However, I still couldn't let go of the story of Xu Que and the others. So, no matter if it was for myself or for the hundreds of students who stayed behind to continue reading, I would still finish writing "The Strongest Anti-Trap System".
He would definitely be able to finish the book within 2021.

I actually prepared a lot to write this book. Under the advice of my chief editor, Big Boss Northriver, I changed the opening many times. In the end, he still advised me not to use this opening because the pace was too slow. Haha, but I still insisted on using it.
Reality proved that he was right. Many readers reported that the opening plot wasn't interesting, and this was indeed my problem.
But I was more or less mentally prepared and could predict that it would be like this.
But it didn't matter.
When I wrote 《The Strongest Anti-Trap System》, I always wrote it with the intention of "bringing you guys happiness". As long as there was one or two parts of the plot that could make you guys laugh happily, my efforts wouldn't have been in vain.
But now, with this new book 《The Last Simplicity of the Cultivation World》, I wanted to express some of my inner thoughts and stories.
I chose to use a flashy title and wrote a flashy plot on the surface to package what I wanted to express, so that everyone could continue reading it.
Maybe it was because there were too many personal items mixed in, but the pace of the plot was also slowed down. Everyone said that the opening was dull, and it actually quite corresponded to my current feelings. It was indeed very dull.
I wrote this post because I wanted to give everyone who was still following me a simple description of my journey from the old book to the new book.
Ever since I started writing the new book, I only asked for recommendation tickets and monthly tickets, which were all free.
I didn't ask for any tips, because I felt that this book was written to make my own thoughts clearer. There was no reason for you guys to pay for this book.
