The next moment, Fangzheng felt something surge into his mind. Then, his mouth was no longer his mouth. It was completely out of his control. His tongue flared as he explained scriptures he had never heard before …
Yi Xing did not believe that Fangzheng could say much. They were about the same age, and he did not believe that Fangzheng was that much taller than him. But when Fangzheng spoke, he was dumbfounded!
Fangzheng was speaking in Sanskrit!
The Sanskrit was like music. It was not spoken but sung. It was loud but not deafening. The voice seemed to contain infinite righteousness. The haze in his heart was instantly shattered by the voice! Their previous selfishness had also been swept away, and their eyes were filled with shock! Ever since he was young, Hong Jin had brought him out to listen to the scriptures, but he had never heard such scriptures or Dao!
Yi Xing did not understand Sanskrit, but he could understand what Fangzheng was saying. It was as though Fangzheng was not speaking Sanskrit but Mandarin! It was also as though he was not speaking Mandarin, but a language that all living beings in the world could hear. His voice was filled with a Buddhist nature, making one think deeply and think deeply …
The moment Fangzheng spoke, all the monks present were stunned. Following that, they were immersed in Fangzheng's Buddhist scripture world.
Two monkey cries sounded as a monkey ran out of Guan Yin Hall and sat on the roof. It widened its eyes as it looked at Fangzheng as though it was listening to the scriptures. It even seemed to understand! It nodded from time to time …
A few birds landed from the sky and landed in front of Fangzheng. They stood there with their heads turned as though they were listening as well.
However, no one saw any of this. Everyone was immersed in Fangzheng's scriptures.
At that moment, Fangzheng suddenly recalled a rumor. After Patriarch Bodhidharma came from the east, he was unable to preach the scriptures or Dharma due to language barriers. Therefore, he went up the mountain and meditated on the Zen. He did not say a word, but he passed on the scriptures and Dharma. Fangzheng did not understand in the past, but now, he more or less understood. Language was a tool for communication, but it was not the only tool! What Fangzheng was saying was not Sanskrit, nor was it Chinese. Instead, it was a language of a higher level. It was a language that could communicate with the soul. Anyone could understand it!
Therefore, it wasn't strange for Patriarch Bodhidharma to possess a magical power that allowed him to communicate without speaking.
Fangzheng was extremely displeased when he saw everyone looking intoxicated. This was because he could not hear what he was saying. This feeling made him feel like he was squatting in a movie theater and watching an extremely boring movie. Others were enjoying it, but only Fangzheng could not watch it. Yet, he could not leave early. It was boring!
Time ticked by, and the sun had completely set. The moon rose into the sky, and its silvery radiance sprinkled down. Since the monks were all engrossed in listening, no one turned on the lights. Therefore, the entire temple was completely enveloped in moonlight. It was a little hazy, but it also had a hint of holiness.
At that moment, Fangzheng saw something move in the crowd. Unfortunately, he was too far away to see it clearly.
With the passage of time, things kept appearing and moving. Just as Fangzheng was trying his best to investigate, there was a popping sound in front of him. A tender shoot had squeezed out from a crack in the limestone ground! The tender shoot grew rapidly, spreading out branches and leaves, bulging out a flower bud, and then blossoming!
Fangzheng was instantly dumbfounded. It was a lotus flower!
At the same time, Fangzheng heard even more popping sounds. Like bamboo shoots sprouting after the rain, lotus flowers constantly appeared around him, blooming in the cold wind! The silver moonlight landed on the lotus flowers, making them sparkle. While they were brimming with vitality, they appeared even more solemn, sacred, and unfathomable!
"Lotus Flower Conveyance, Lotus Flower Conveyance. Holy f * * k Buddha! A lotus flower has really bloomed! If the Golden Springs Gushes out … Wouldn't I be rich? " While Fangzheng was astounded, he thought about how he would recite the Golden Springs Gushes Out card at One Finger Monastery after he drew it. When that happened, would he still need to worry about money?
"Croak!" At that moment, a frog croaked. The frog in the east had been woken up by Fangzheng's recitation of the scriptures. It had jumped onto the lotus leaf to listen to the scriptures!
At that moment, Fangzheng was completely numb from the shock. All he did was look at everything in front of him in a daze.
The night passed amidst the magical scenery. When the Lotus Flower Conveyance card's final second was over, Fangzheng finally found his tongue. It was finally jumping around without him realizing it.
"Wow, the feeling of regaining the initiative sure feels good!" Fangzheng felt the existence of his tongue and sighed inwardly.
At the same time, Fangzheng surveyed his surroundings. He saw many monks still immersed in the Buddhist Dharma, unable to extricate themselves. When Fangzheng saw this, he immediately heaved a sigh of relief. If they were to wake up and see the ground filled with animals and lotus flowers, he would not know how to explain it.
Fangzheng hurriedly got up. He did not return to the meditation room since there was nothing for him to take. When he came to the door, he wanted to escape! He realized that Baiyun Monastery's door not only had a door latch, but it also had an electronic lock! Helpless, Fangzheng could only climb over the wall. With a leap, he reached the top of the wall with both hands. With a little strength, he reached the top of the wall. However, the scene outside left Fangzheng completely dumbfounded!
At Baiyun Monastery's entrance were five to six cows, two dogs, more than ten rabbits, and an eagle … These animals looked like they were listening attentively. As for whether they were sincere or not, Fangzheng found it difficult to tell from their furry faces. After all, the Buddhist scriptures only guided people into a deep state of introspection. It guided them to the correct values. Different people had different insights. As for what it was for animals, Fangzheng really had no idea.
"Is this a zoo having a convention? Where's the elephant? Don't tell me it's stuffed into a refrigerator? "Fangzheng's mind wandered but his hands did not slow down. He jumped off the wall and ran off.
Fangzheng rushed down the mountain with wide strides. As it was too early, the ferry had not even started. With no other choice, he did not even use the reed. He crossed the river by stepping on the surface of the river before walking home. There was no other way. The bus had not started and most importantly, he did not have much money left.
About ten minutes after Fangzheng left, a particular monkey on the roof suddenly woke up. When it looked down, it realized that the monk who had been preaching the scriptures with the rice dumplings was gone! It immediately turned anxious as it shook its butt and ran out. It ran all the way down the mountain and happened to see Fangzheng walking across the river. Its eyes nearly popped out. Not having its beliefs shaken, it jumped onto the river's surface and tried to take a few steps but …
Splash!
It made the monkey jump out of the water out of the cold. It jumped and jumped on the bank and kept waving its hands at Fangzheng's back. It was unknown what it was saying.
After the monkey went down the mountain, the monks in the monastery gradually woke up.
"Awakening from a dream!" someone said with a sigh. He had gained insight into many things that he could not figure out in the past from the scriptures.
"That's right. Awakening from a dream. We were all wrong."
"Abbot Fangzheng is indeed an abbot. I have never heard such a standard of preaching!"
