Buddhist energy rippled through the entire Mount Meru, causing the air to be filled with endless Buddhist chants.
A straight stairway led to the top of Mount Meru. Qin Shaofeng followed behind the Battle Immortal Buddha and climbed up. Along the way, all the Buddhas, monks, and acolytes bowed to the Battle Immortal Buddha. One could see how high the Battle Immortal Buddha's status in Buddhism was. The two of them climbed all the way up and finally arrived at the top of Mount Meru. They came before a magnificent hall. This was the place where Shi Huang and Pu Huang cultivated.
Qin Shaofeng followed the Battle Immortal Buddha into the hall. When he saw the golden arhats and Buddhas sitting cross-legged on both sides of the hall, he was shocked. Every arhat here was at the Overarching Heavenly Supreme Immortal Realm and the Buddhas were at the Half-step Sacred Emperor Realm. Moreover, there were so many of them. The strength of Buddhism in the West was really deep.
There were two old monks sitting cross-legged at the top of the hall. One of the old monks had a miserable expression and was extremely thin. His eyes were filled with pity for the living beings of Heaven and Earth. This person was Shi Huang. The old monk on the other side was also thin and weak. He held a withered branch in his hand. This person was the other Sacred Emperor of Buddhism, Pu Huang.
Seeing the two almighty beings, even the Battle Immortal Buddha did not dare to be disrespectful. He quickly bowed to the two Sacred Emperors. Qin Shaofeng naturally did the same. He also bowed to the two Sacred Emperors. However, in his heart, he was thinking about how to obtain the Ethereal Fragment in Mount Meru. When Shi Huang and Pu Huang saw the Battle Immortal Buddha and Qin Shaofeng, they smiled.
Shi Huang looked at the Battle Immortal Buddha and Qin Shaofeng and revealed a smile. He then said to the Battle Immortal Buddha and Qin Shaofeng, "I already know why you are here. Monkey, this Demon Subduing Rod is an Innate Spiritual Treasure that was born when Heaven and Earth were created. It should belong to the protectors of Buddhism. Today, I will pass it to you." After Shi Huang finished speaking, a golden light flew towards the Battle Immortal Buddha.
When the Immortal Fighting Buddha saw this, he immediately grabbed the golden light in his hand. However, he did not know that the Demon-subduing Pestle in the golden light was extremely heavy. Even with the Immortal Fighting Buddha's strength, he could not grab it. It pressed down on the Immortal Fighting Buddha's arm. This made the Immortal Fighting Buddha surprised him. He loved heavy weapons and this Demon-subduing Pestle really suited him.
Although the Ruyi Jingu Bang was not bad, it was still a little light for the Battle Immortal Buddha at his current realm. The Battle Immortal Buddha had always been looking for a suitable weapon. Today, he finally got it. Looking at the extremely heavy Demon Subduing Rod, the Battle Immortal Buddha's spiritual power surged. With a shout, he grabbed the Demon Subduing Rod.
When the golden light dissipated, one end of the Demon Subduing Rod was a round rod with the image of the Guardian Vajra of Buddhism carved on it. The other end was a quadrangular awl that was extremely sharp and shone with a dazzling cold light. Looking at the Demon Subduing Rod, the Battle Immortal Buddha was extremely happy. He thought to himself that he had made the right choice in coming here. Otherwise, how could he have gotten such a good treasure?
The Battle Immortal Buddha had come to Mount Meru many times to listen to the teachings of Buddhism. However, he had never received any rewards from the Shi Emperor and the Pu Emperor. This time, he had followed Qin Shaofeng and obtained such an Innate Spiritual Treasure. The Battle Immortal Buddha felt that he had made a wise decision. Indeed, following Qin Shaofeng had its benefits.
The Battle Immortal Buddha retreated to the side after receiving such benefits. The envious Qin Shaofeng immediately went up to the two Sage Emperors and said, "Disciple Qin Shaofeng pays his respects to the two Sage Emperors." This left the Immortal Fighting Buddha standing at the side dumbfounded. The two Saint Emperors had not even said that they wanted to acknowledge him as their disciple and he was actually shamelessly rushing over to do so. Wasn't this a little too shameless?
However, the Shi Emperor and the Pu Emperor were not angry when they heard Qin Shaofeng's words. Instead, they nodded. The Shi Emperor then said to Qin Shaofeng, "Yes, you are indeed fated with Buddhism. You also have a master-disciple relationship with me and the Pu Emperor. Today, I will impart the Great Tibetan Scripture to you." After saying that, he flipped his hand and a golden light flew towards Qin Shaofeng again.
The Great Tibetan Scripture was really the most precious treasure of Buddhism. This was because all the cultivation techniques of Buddhism originated from the Great Tibetan Scripture. Moreover, the greatest function of the Great Tibetan Scripture was to calculate the changes in the past, present, and future. It was to find out the cause and effect.
