Planet ACG21 was shrouded in a black fog, and Xia Fei was only able to get a clear view of the warship graveyard after the Dock Ship passed through the thick black clouds.

There were many spaceships piled up on the ground, both large and small.

These spaceships of all shapes and sizes were all lying messily on the ground. Some had long decayed beyond recognition, while others had all sorts of green plants crawling all over them, giving them a dilapidated look.

The landing ship whizzed past the wreckage of a huge battleship. This battleship was over a hundred kilometers long, and its hull had been split in half from the middle. Its huge body seemed to be telling of how glorious it had been in the past.

Though these spaceships had long since become useless scrap metal, Xia Fei was still shocked by the number and style of the warships. Such a scene was very rare to see on any planet.

The Dock Ship slowly landed on an empty plot of land, and Xia Fei and a few other passengers alighted.

Right in front of them was the airport terminal. The people living here were very good at making use of waste. The terminal was remodeled from an ancient warship, and the landing apron was made from the flight deck of a large warship.

The sky was extremely gloomy, and dark clouds hung overhead as if it would rain at any moment.

Xia Fei picked up his backpack and followed the crowd out of the airport.

There was no one managing the airport, and it was a scene of desolation everywhere. From start to finish, Xia Fei did not even see a single uniformed staff member.

The outer perimeter of the airport was surrounded by a rusty metal fence. Many parts of it had already collapsed, and anyone could enter and leave the airport at will.

There was a dirt road outside the airport, and a hovercar sped across it, leaving a long trail of dust behind it. The black dust did not disperse even after a long time.

Sigh, why isn't there even a taxi in this place? Xia Fei put down his backpack and lit a cigarette. He stood by the side of the road, bored, hoping to find a taxi.

The few burly men who had gotten off the Dock Ship with Xia Fei boarded two hovercars and sped away, leaving Xia Fei alone by the side of the road.

Xia Fei picked up his backpack and prepared to walk into the city. He was a Speed Ability User, so he was not afraid of the long road. It was just that this place was very unfamiliar to Xia Fei, and he had no idea which direction he should head in.

That was when a tattered yellow hovercar came to a screeching halt right in front of Xia Fei.

The black dust engulfed Xia Feis entire body, and he choked on it, coughing a few times while covering his mouth.

A black man in his twenties whistled at Xia Fei and waved for him to get in the car.

This man was skinny and small, and with his tanned skin, Xia Fei almost did not notice that there was someone sitting in the driver's seat.

Brother Black grinned, revealing a mouthful of yellow teeth. "Get in the car. Count yourself lucky. I just happened to pass by the airport. Otherwise, I'm afraid you'd have to spend the night in this wilderness."

Xia Fei thought about it for a moment before he carried his backpack and sat on the seat beside the driver's seat. The hovercar let out an ear-piercing roar as it sped off.

This kind of hover car was not much different from the cars on Earth, except that its jet system was installed in the trunk, and the luggage was placed in the front. There were four brackets around the car, and each bracket had a thick disc on it. That was the magnetic levitation system.

"Are you here to buy a spaceship?" Brother Black asked.

Xia Fei nodded. "How do you know?"

"Do you even need to guess? Who would come to a place like this if not to buy a spaceship?" Brother Black said disapprovingly.

"There are only three types of people who come to the warship graveyard to buy a spaceship. The first type are the poor, only coming here because they can't afford a new spaceship. There's not much to be gained from these people. The second type are the experts, who know that the warship graveyard has the lowest price and the best spaceship. These people are very familiar with spaceships, and there's not much to be gained from them.

"The third type are the black people. Of course, they're not black people like me, but those who can't see the light of day. They can't even buy a spaceship from the government, which is why they choose to come here. Though there's some profit to be gained from doing business with them, you might lose your life if you're not careful. Which type are you?"

Xia Fei chuckled. "What do you think?"

Brother Black took a look at Xia Fei's attire. "You can't be an expert because you're too young to be rich, so I'm guessing that you're a poor person who needs a spaceship but doesn't have much money."

Xia Fei smiled, not saying a word.

"Have you found a place to stay?" Brother Black asked.

Xia Fei shook his head. "Nope. Do you have any good places to recommend?"

"Brother, you're really lucky to have met me today. I happen to know a pretty good small hotel that isn't too expensive, though there aren't any women there." Brother Black glanced at Xia Fei with ill intentions as he said this.

From afar, he could see a city appearing in his line of sight.

Calling it a city was actually a bit of an exaggeration. The size of this city could only be considered as a slightly larger town. There were a few irregular dirt roads, and on both sides of these roads were abandoned spaceships. The people of this town lived in these abandoned spaceships.

Sweeping a glance at the two sides of the road, there were Pan-Universe Shipping Company, Galactic Modification Company, and so on. The shops were dark and dilapidated, but the names were quite shocking.

There was a long bench in front of the entrance of a spaceship assembly company called Apex, and on it sat a burly man with a scar on his face. This man immediately stood up and waved enthusiastically at Brother Black when he saw his hovercar. He even yelled something indistinctly, most likely asking Brother Black to stop.

Brother Black waved at him and swaggered off.

"Dont say that I didnt warn you. The shops in this city are all for scamming outsiders like you who don't know the ropes. You better stay away from them. The truly large-scale factories are all located far away from the city," Brother Black said with a straight face.

He did not sound like he was lying, and Xia Fei could not help but have a whole new level of respect for this man. Even though he had the face of a bad guy, he was not a bad person deep down. It was just that listening to him talk was a very troublesome matter. His mouth had not stopped for the entire hour or so they had been on the road.

The hovercar stopped on a remote road. Brother Black pointed to the left and said, "This is it. Tell my mom that I'm going to send off a few night guests today. Tell her not to wait for me for dinner."

Xia Fei got out of the hovercar and looked in the direction Brother Black was pointing. He saw a hotel that had been transformed from a warship. There was a wooden sign hanging on the door: "Home Hotel."

The glass door was polished to the point that one could see one's reflection. The floor had just been cleaned with a mop, so it was spotless.

It was quite rare to find such a clean little hotel in a place like this.

Brother Black started the hovercar and was about to leave when Xia Fei hurriedly said, "What's your name? I havent given you the money yet. "

"My name is Sonny. Give the money to my mom." Brother Black waved his hand and swaggered off.

Xia Fei quickly patted the dust off his body as he walked toward the hotel. His brand new white t-shirt had almost turned black.

He knocked on the glass door a few times, and a black woman in her fifties walked out, swaying her fat waist with a smile on her face.

"Sonny sent me here. He said that he has to send off a few night guests tonight, so he'll be back a little late," Xia Fei said.

The black woman very enthusiastically invited Xia Fei into the room and used a cloth duster to clean the dust off Xia Feis body.

"This place is too dirty. Hurry up and take a bath in the room."

Sonny's mother led Xia Fei to a room on the second floor. The hotel was very quiet, and there was not a single guest aside from Xia Fei. It was obvious that this hotel's business was not doing well.

The room was very small, with only a single bed and a metal cabinet. There was even a pot of unknown green plant on the table.

Xia Fei was already very satisfied with such conditions. He was not picky about food and lodging, and it was good enough as long as he had a bed to sleep in and a hot meal to eat.

After taking a bath, Xia Fei lit a cigarette and sat on the bed. That was when he heard a knock on the door.

When he opened the door, he saw Sonny's mother standing there with a basket in her hand. "Bring your dirty clothes over; I'll wash them for you."

Xia Fei hurriedly shook his head. "No need. I can wash them myself."

Sonny's mother did not say anything else. She pushed Xia Fei aside and entered the room. She collected the clothes that Xia Fei had tossed on the floor into the basket, not even leaving Xia Fei's underwear behind. "Men are meant to do big things. Things like washing clothes should be left to women."

Sonny's mother twisted her body and left without saying a word. "Dinner will be served at seven o 'clock sharp. We'll be having potatoes and bacon for today."

Xia Fei helplessly watched her leave, his heart filled with gratitude for this warm-hearted auntie. It seemed like Sonny's family was quite trustworthy.

At seven o 'clock sharp, Xia Fei arrived downstairs on time. He saw a pot of golden potatoes on the dining room table, looking very nice and round. There was also a pot filled with bacon that was half fat and half lean.

Xia Fei was already hungry after the bumpy journey. Seeing that there was no one around, Xia Fei picked up a potato and put it in his mouth.

"You're not allowed to steal it!" Sonny's mother yelled out of nowhere. Xia Fei's hand trembled, and the whole potato slipped into his mouth, getting stuck in his throat.

Xia Fei's face turned red as he patted his chest with all his might. It took him a lot of effort to swallow the potato.

That was when Xia Fei realized that there was a young black man, about ten years old, standing next to him, looking at him with a puzzled expression.

"Why didn't you bite it with your teeth instead of swallowing it whole?" the little fellow asked curiously.

"Ugh." Xia Fei was speechless, feeling a little hot on his face.

It was only during dinner that Xia Fei found out that this little fellow was Sonny's younger brother, Nimo.

After wolfing down the food, Xia Fei patted his stomach in satisfaction and took out a cigarette to smoke.

"Don't be fooled by your small and skinny body. You actually have such a big appetite. It's good to eat more. Men need to eat more and sleep more to have the strength to work." Nissan's mother was full of praise for Xia Fei's appetite.

The sound of a car screeching to a halt could be heard. Just from the sound of the train, Xia Fei knew that Sonny had returned.

Sonny walked into the dining room and sat down at the table without saying a word. He did not look very happy from the looks of it.

"Didnt you say you were going to send off a few people from the night?" Nissan's mother asked.

Nissan swallowed a large piece of bacon and said, "Those people didn't keep their word and hired Fatty Luo's car."

"Oh, that's good too. It's best to avoid doing business with those people from the night. None of them are trustworthy, and you might even end up losing your life," Nissan's mother said.

Xia Fei suddenly realized that the night people were actually referring to those bandits and pirates who did not want to see the light of day.
