The eunuch's body trembled, and he forced a smile. "Yes, True Monarch, please speak."
"What's your name? Where did he come from? How long have you been in the palace? Looking at your age, you should be in your twenties? "

Liu Fang's body trembled slightly, but he continued to speak. When he spoke of Eunuch Huang, he glanced at Pei Zi Yun. Eunuch Huang was the Emperor's most powerful eunuch. Who didn't know of him?

The eunuch gave a low groan, and stopped breathing. He fell into the water, and a splashing sound could be heard. The corpse sank into the water, and a demonic shadow appeared. The Plum Blossom flashed on the surface of the water, and the demonic shadow disappeared.
"System!"
A Plum Blossom appeared in front of his eyes, and quickly grew bigger until it became a translucent information interface. It floated in front of him, and a string of words appeared before his eyes.
"Side Mission: Kill ten visitors from another plane, and absorb their information. Completion: 9/10."
Pei Zi Yun looked at the system and laughed, "Who would've thought that a meat pie would fall from the sky. This counts as one of the missions. Looks like I'm really lucky."
"I've killed one, but remember there's another." Pei Zi Yun said as he leapt off the boat. He stepped on the water surface as though it was flat land, and walked towards the shore.
On the Shore, Small Inn
The shop wasn't big, and there were only four tables, lit by oil lamps. By the time it was late at night, there weren't many customers left. There was only one official who hadn't left yet. The waiter and the owner of the inn were smiling, "Ai, Your excellency Hu, you've run out of wine, and you've run out of food. Do you want more?"
Official Hu was a Chief Patrol Officer, and was only a ninth ranked official. However, he was in charge of law and order, and could be said to be in charge of the lives and deaths of the citizens. At this point, he could only nod his head, and his expression changed.
"Eh?" Official Hu gave a low groan, and closed his eyes. The mark on the eunuch had disappeared. His expression changed as he stood up, "Don't serve anymore, I'll settle the bill."
As he said this, he tossed a small piece of silver to the waiter and turned around to leave. However, as soon as he stepped out onto the street, he saw someone, and took a few steps back.
"You!" Chief Patrol Officer's body stiffened, and his face was filled with fear, "No, impossible. How did you find me?"
As soon as he finished speaking, he hurriedly covered his mouth and smiled, "This lowly official pays his respects to True Sovereign. I wonder if True Sovereign has any instructions for me in the middle of the night?"
Pei Zi Yun smiled as he looked at Chief Patrol Officer Hu, as though he was sizing up his prey. He then laughed, "Just sit at home, and treasures will fall from the heavens. I don't need to waste any effort at all."

The sound of footsteps on the green stone floor echoed throughout the entire street. The surroundings were pitch black, and looked extremely gloomy. Only a few houses in the distance had their lights lit up. The lights shone through the windows, and shone a dim light.
Sweat dripped down Chief Patrol Officer Hu's body like rain, drenching his hair and clothes.
"True Monarch, what are you trying to do? Don't tell me you want to kill an official of the imperial court …" Patrol Inspector Hu suddenly shouted loudly. Only, his voice was very loud, but after it traveled one zhang, his voice gradually disappeared. It did not cause any activity at all.

At this point, the streets were already quiet. However, the rules were still in place. Along the streets and alleys, there was a night watchman carrying a lantern, banging on a gong and shouting, "It's the middle of the night, be careful of the candles."
As he turned around, the lantern lit up something on the ground. The night watchman was shocked as he walked closer to take a look. It was a corpse, and his face turned pale as he shouted, "Not good, not good, someone's been killed."
As he shouted, the people on both sides of the street were frightened as they lit up their lanterns. However, only those who were brave enough opened their doors to take a look. The rest of them only peeped through their doors.
Pei Zi Yun didn't care about all this as he walked back to the boat. At this point, there was a commotion on the boat as well.
