"Don't overestimate yourself!" Hannie shouted and leapt forward. A ball of light had appeared in her hand, and she threw it at the dark-skinned man's face. Unexpectedly, she chose to engage in close combat.
Lin Sanjiu purposely slowed down and didn't rush forward to help.
This was a rare opportunity. Lin Sanjiu took the opportunity to find out Hannie's true strength. After a few glances, Lin Sanjiu realized that Hannie was quite strong. She managed to gain the upper hand with a few consecutive attacks and forced the man to retreat. Just when Hannie was about to reach the door of the rooftop, she heard footsteps coming from the stairs. It seemed that Derik and his men had come to support them after they heard the alarm.
