At the very apex of the Three Realms, the Celestial Court that ruled over the entire Three Realms stood there. Its awe-inspiring Celestial Might spread out in all directions, maintaining the order and stability of the Three Realms.
Today was the day that the annual court assembly of the Celestial Court would begin. All of the Gods of the Three Realms had arrived early, and they all stood at the two sides of the court, awaiting the arrival of God Haotian.
As the disciple of God Haotian, Ning had led his wife, Yu Wei, to the Cloudy Palace of the Golden Arches. After greeting the Gods, he moved to stand behind Daoist Three Purities.

"Rise, my subjects!" Cheng Hao had many years of experience as an emperor, and so he had long ago grown accustomed to this. After everyone rose to their feet, he sat down upon the imperial throne.
"We have something to announce to all of you in today's court assembly!"
As soon as he sat down, Cheng Hao didn't wait for anyone to speak. He nodded towards Taibai Jinxing, indicating for him to step forward.
Taibai Jinxing had a calm look on his face as he walked to the steps leading to the Cloudy Palace of the Golden Arches. He turned and stared at the major powers within the palace, then spread out his hands. An imperial edict flashing with golden light appeared in his hands.
"Haotian Goldtower, the Supreme Autarch of Nature, the Absolute Truth, the Jade Emperor proclaims: From this day forth, the title of Lord of the Celestial Court shall be given to True Lord Darknorth, Ji Ning. He shall ascend the throne today!"
Cheng Hao's imperial edicts had always been short and clear. The gods were already used to it. However, the imperial edict today still caused quite a stir in the Lingxiao King Hall.
"Your Majesty, you can't!"
"His Majesty has only established the Heavenly Court for a hundred years. How can he abdicate so early?"
"Master, please take back your order. Your disciple is not qualified to take on the role of Celestial Emperor!"

After giving Ning a few more instructions, Cheng Hao and Lin Xi bid farewell to the various members of the Gate of Gods within the Cloudy Palace of the Golden Arches.

"Alright!" Gongsun Waner said in a very respectful manner. She glanced at Lin Xi with a hint of wariness in her eyes, then controlled the lizard-shaped warship to tear through multiple layers of spacetime, transforming into a streak of black light that disappeared into the void of the Three Realms!
