"Senior apprentice-brother, please wait a moment. I want to bid them farewell!" Ning looked at his Dao-companion with some reluctance.
Ao Wuxu nodded, indicating for Ning to move faster.
"Senior apprentice-sister, I need to leave as well. Once I finish my training, I'll definitely go find you!" Ignoring the gazes of everyone else, Ning boldly took Yu Wei into his arms, a look of reluctance on his face.
"Don't worry. I'll go find you as well. I told you, junior apprentice-brother, you are so outstanding that a Daofather will definitely take a liking to you!" Yu Wei seemed to be quite happy. Her Dao-companion had been accepted as a disciple by the number one figure of the Three Realms. His future would definitely be limitless. In the future, he might even become a Daofather or True Immortal.
Seeing this pair of reluctant lovers, the more than ten thousand Celestial Immortals within the palace all clicked their tongues and stared enviously at Ning.
This was Emperor Haotian, one of the few Elder Gods of the Three Realms who had once commanded the many Gods of the Celestial Court. Who would've thought that today, he would actually take on a young fellow like Ning as his disciple? This was an enormous stroke of good fortune.
"Let's go!"
Ao Wuxu watched as Ning bid farewell to his Dao-companion and his friends. Ao Wuxu waved his hand, summoning Ning to his side. And then, the two of them, their bodies covered with blood-colored light, casually stepped into that terrifying dimensional rift.
"He left. Junior apprentice-brother left!" A look of reluctance appeared on Yu Wei's face. She stared at the gradually disappearing dimensional rift as she spoke softly.
"Your little lover has left. You can leave with your master as well!" Lu Dongbin laughed. After Ning left, he didn't hesitate at all; he led Yu Wei away from the world of the Grand Xia.
"This time, your master miscalculated!" After Ning's group left, a look of regret appeared on Daofather Crimsonbright's face. "For Emperor Haotian to personally accept him as a disciple … this Ji Ning definitely has potential which I haven't seen yet!"
"Master, what sort of person is this Emperor Haotian? I've always heard that he is very powerful, but also very mysterious. It seems as though he rarely appears in the Three Realms!" The nearby Xia Emperor said, puzzled.
"Oh, Haotian … forget about you; even I, your master, don't know much about him!" Daofather Crimsonbright raised his head slightly, as though he was thinking back to the stories of Emperor Haotian.
"In the Primordial Pangu Origin world, he was one of the earliest True Gods. Together with Daoist Three Purities, he established the Celestial Court. He was one of the more powerful forces of the Primordial Era."
"Afterwards, when the Fiendgod War of the Primordial Era erupted, Emperor Haotian slew nine True Gods and Daofathers in a row, breaking through to the Elder God level and becoming one of the top experts of the Primordial Era."
"Afterwards, Empress Nüwa broke through from the Elder God level to the World God level, bringing an end to the Fiendgod War of the Primordial Era. Our Nüwa alliance eventually became the rulers of the Three Realms."

"After Nüwa left, Emperor Haotian disbanded the Celestial Court. However, he established the Haotian major world and trained quite a few subordinates. He spread his forces throughout every single corner of the Three Realms, constantly keeping an eye on the movements of the Three Realms."
The Xia Emperor and the others quietly listened as Daofather Crimsonbright described Emperor Haotian's experiences. This was the first time they had learned so much about this mysterious Emperor.
"Master, doesn't that mean that our Crimsonbright Dao Territory is being monitored by Emperor Haotian as well?" The Xia Emperor's face was rather ugly to behold. Anyone who knew that they were being monitored would probably feel terrible.
"Don't worry about that. Emperor Haotian knows what he's doing. Although his forces are spread throughout the Three Realms, he actually doesn't have much control over the former Nüwa alliance. He only has a few spies in each world, and so long as the Three Realms aren't in chaos, he never shows himself in the Three Realms."
"Master, are you saying that Emperor Haotian's main focus of surveillance is … the Seamless Gate?" Upon speaking of the Seamless Gate, the Xia Emperor's face grew solemn.
The Seamless Gate was a force which had once opposed the Nüwa alliance in the Fiendgod Formation. After it was defeated, it merged into the Three Realms and became a part of the Three Realms.
Some Daofathers and True Gods expressed their willingness to accept the Seamless Gate, but some major powers remained wary of this once hostile force. Emperor Haotian, for example, had never relaxed his guard against the Seamless Gate.
"The Emperor once said that sooner or later, the Nüwa alliance of the Three Realms and the Seamless Gate would come to war. He sent a letter to me, telling me to make preparations as soon as possible!"
Daofather Crimsonbright patted the Xia Emperor on the shoulders. "Enough. I've said so much. You should at least have some idea of what to do. If you discover the Seamless Gate, report it to me immediately. Emperor Haotian's decision to accept a disciple most likely has an extraordinary significance. I need to go discuss this with my other friends!"
Daofather Crimsonbright left, leaving behind the Xia Emperor and the others, who all stared at each other. Some were pondering about the Seamless Gate, while others were envious of Ning's good fortune. For a time, the enormous palace was completely silent. No sound could be heard at all.

On the other side. Ao Wuxu led Ning in passing through multiple layers of dimensional space. The golden jade slip in hand tore through the final dimensional barrier, then entered a vast world.
This was an enormous world that looked like the Primordial Immortal Realm. The mountains were vast and boundless, reaching as high as the heavens. Divine vines and Immortal trees grew everywhere, giving off an ancient, ancient aura. It seemed as though this place had been here for millions of years.
The entire world was covered by a layer of blurry white mist. One could see the general outline of the world, but it was very hard to see what was going on within it. It gave off a dream-like, illusory feeling.
Ning strived hard to see through the world before him, but it was simply too illusory. The harder he tried, the more hazy it became. He was unable to see through it.
Boom!
A blazing rain of light came pouring down, as though one divine flower after another was blooming. It was resplendent and warm, and its light illuminated the ages. It seemed as though it had transcended the entire history of the Haotian major world.
The rain of light gathered in midair, slowly solidifying. Moments later, it transformed into a corridor of light that led off into an unknown direction. It looked both mysterious and resplendent, displaying the beauty of both mystery and art to the fullest extent.
"Outsiders are unable to enter or exit the Haotian major world at will. Even Daofathers, if they don't have a jade slip which Master bestowed upon them, will be lost within this vast white mist. If they are lucky, they will be trapped for tens of thousands of years before being released. If they are unlucky, they will trigger a killing formation and probably die on the spot! "
